1. Visually stunning, matte Matte makes very fine Jazz bass pickups, folks
2.
It's not any different for a .net (or any other) code monkey. Usually they'll just say 'I'm in i.t.' and people relate 'ooh I have a computer! Fun isn't it.'
Yep - Java monkeys get this also My computer is running really slow..,,
3. Did you meet such a person recently ? Curious what prompted you to post
4. well,I take your point that U2 arent really appealing to a seventeen year old but Apple are legally allowed to put it there, unless you actively decline it and/or actively decline any future "gifts", so its not something that any Apple user can reasonably complain about; they agreed to Apple doing this activity. I'm not suggesting it was a masterful stroke, or well judged in any respect by the way, just that they are only doing it because they can, with your prior agreement.
5. i think making personal copy has always been legal; i think its distribution, publication, public performance etc thats always been the issue.
6.
Give it a few more listens. It's a grower.
I did and it wasn't Disappointing and self-indulgent Sorry
7. It would be this one http://s1149.photobucket.com/user/geek99/library/patina
8.
first time we played a Sunday teatime gig about 5 years ago we'd never heard of them and we thought who's going to be there? but it went well and then it dawned on us, "what else is there to do on a Sunday teatime?". They have become a lot more popular in this area since then, it's got to be better than being dragged round the shops by the other half, any excuse to get out of that.
I'd like to try one of these once the small people have grown up a bit.
9.
The last Sunday afternoon gig we played was a couple of years back, on the same afternoon that Andy Murray played in his first Wimbledon Men's Singles Final and there was the British G.P. at Silverstone. [Note to Blue: In transatlantic terms, think of being up against the SuperBowl and a Mets/Yankees game.] There's been very little enthusiasm since then for playing to an empty room while everyone within 50 yards crowds around a paiur of TVs in the next bar.
what an awesome opportunity to endlessly jam over "the chain"...
10.
Surely things have improved immeasurably since that One Direction chappy has left Redditch? Haven't they?
I imagine the fop-haired tw@ coefficient has nose-dived
11. This is not a fender part, it's a generic one. Price is including mainland uk postage Bacs or PayPal gift please Pics available http://s1149.photobucket.com/user/geek99/library/bridge%20cover
12. Bit sarcastic perhaps ? If he is new he may not know how to post pictures yet and if a relative has just passed away may have other things on his mind. To the original poster: yes I'm sure we can help you.
13. I've followed them since 1983, and they have lost me with this hopelessly self indulgent piece of junk I don't care that they put it on my iphone, but I am very glad I didn't have to pay to find out what it's like
14. Loads of youtube tutorials but basically get a stiff kitchen knife (use the top side, not the actual blade) or a trem bar, steel ruler or the like and rub it on the edge of the board between the frets until it loses it's sharp edge. Repeat for each fret, top and bottom of board. Soften the edges off with some fine wire wool. No need to fiddle with fret filing if you just soften the wooden edge a little.
15. Why don't you roll them yourself? It's really simple Thanks to Eddiehoffman and raslee for the tip about 70s p soundalike
16. I'm really impressed that everyone likes their pickups, and no one seems to feel the need to change them. I'd still love to know what they are, if they really are that good
17. Still has the film on the plastic cavity plates
18. I bought it - it's s millennium not a cirrus as the link suggested - but totally mint
19. People do seem very satisfied with the pickups; and consensus on that is most unusual around here. I'd like to know the answer to this also, and can any one tell me where he gets his red tort ? Thanks
