1. I bought myself a fish man preamp for my 12 string guitar. It has a tuner unlike the apc that comes as standard
2.
Thanks, man. You know, when writing, foreigners like me can use the sub-set of English that we feel just about comfortable enough with. When reading however, we're on our own. I personally look up some stuff, but sometimes just assume. Some BC members' posts are hard to understand most of the time, whilst other members' posts are normally well-understood. That's not to say I look down on those whose posts go over my head!
I know this feeling ; I worked in Austria and Germany a lot and my colleagues rather oblique literary references left me baffled as I didn't have the background to know them, and it's not something you pick up in school Humbug is said by mr Scrooge in Charles dickens' "a Christmas carol", expressing his dissatisfaction with jollity and Christmas generally
3. It's not as hard as it looks, the sig is a general guide to the notes and by inference, chords, that you will encounter in a given piece. Departures are marked by extra flats sharps and naturals.
4. Buy some used sets on here and try

18.
£50 POSTED TO NORTHERN IRELAND, if you haven't sold it already
You should be discussing offers and prices by personal message, I think?
19. Because I can get that from the tab, and because someone who undoubtedly a better player than me has already figured out a way to play it. I might change it, but it's a start
20.
Here's a revolutionary idea for y'all. Consider reading notation as well as tab. Woooah, yes I know it's a bit out there, but it will save these tedious arguments about which is better/quicker/yada yada. They both have their uses and if you can do both, you're covered every time. Now, what was so difficult about that?
See previous post ?
21. I read the frets off the tab and look to the dots for the rhythm - best of both worlds. Reading rhythm isn't hard and I don't see why there should be a binary choice
22. Only issue I had was in the nut cut being a little borrow for fatter strings - sounded fine with no overtones
23. User skol3203 bought one in from the US - he might recall how much and where he got it?
24. I use45 105 on everything and they worked fine on a shortie, even my three year old got a totally immense tone
