1. I had exactly this year and model and once cleaned up it as awesome I regret selling
2.
I don't see how anyone could rate Adan Clayton as a poor bass player. OK he's not a soloist or slapper, but he's probably one of the most melodic bassists out there.
I've heard him slap on a few songs, also fretless on one song
3. I've owned one, its a classic 50s Top bass but mex not USA
4. And responded One left, subject to payment
5. I can't honestly say - should do as I had a squir vmp and a generic plate fitted given a slight tilt to fit around the pup (you had to put the next side on first and pop it into place) screws were spot on. Nothing is guaranteed with plates Only things I know have issues are listed above
6. two still available, happy to combine postage if you want more than one
7.
Oh I know - as I've watched more and more of them, it's quite impressive the musicians that they have lined up. Just a shame they're mixed in with those highly annoying animatronic puppets!
There was a lady playing Chinese wire xylophone thing, I find it quite educational. My little one loves it; half of The Darkness were on a while back
8.
Here ya go, they only have one guage and in one material (stainless) but it happens to be what I was using from other suppliers anyway; http://www.amazon.co.uk/Coban-Guitar-Strings-Deluxe-DCG3/dp/B00A3HGGP8
I've used them They're nice to the touch and last ages. Recommended as VFM
9. about once a year I change them; the whole set, but one at a time to keep tension. I don't clean my bass much as I want it to relic and I like to keep those nice abrasive particles where they can grind away at the finish. Quick wipe down with a cloth is enough. Jamerson said that dirt kept the funk in and I guess he'd know...
10. Send it back If it's not as described, send it back or raise a case for a partial refund I would be pleased if I were the seller to get it back since you've added value with a setup and new strings
11.
Can one or two members with a 2000's USA Jazz remove the scratchplate and show a picture that the guide hole is standard design. I've had one or two doubters. Appreciated Geoff
Your doubters are wrong - it's s router guide hole
