1. So the poles are the same distance from the strings on all strings so that volume is similar from each string. Look at the board, it has a radius, your strings should follow it.
2. The sun has 56 pages ? [startled look]

I'd be all over this like it was a porn starlet if I wasn't gas free. Someone please give the good Dr some cash for it ?

Lovely and a bargain at that price. Free bump
5. People round here seem to have bottomless parts bins. It was worth an ask
6. Is it possible to buy overwater bridges, pickups etc ?
7. good price - they are very good basses, if the one I tried in PMT Leeds was anything to go by.
8. Contact strings direct ? They can surely point you at nickel free strings. Your problem is not exactly rare according to a quick google search. This problem has a solution and a fairly cheap one
9. John East is actually a basschat member, you know. I'm sure he could advise you
10. Delicate fingers ? Put some rounds on, you complete pansy Seriously - I had a jretro for a while and it's worth thinking about. You can't make sound that isn't there though so ground wounds / flats might defeat it a little
11. Squier VM precision and still have change left over?
12. Pretty sure -pic has gone from original listing. It's a bitsa anyway. Told him at the time that it wasn't all fender Don't think calling it a "fender precision" is quite on though
13. this one has a ROSEWOOD neck. Body looked familiar hence my question. Same guy, I'm certain of it. I asked him if it was original or completely fender
14. Think its a vintage v4 body ? Recall the guys userid now - used the same excuse with the last one he sold. "Bought it on eBay, don't know. Just used it for backing tracks"
15. 261291375801 Could be wrong but it looks like a bitsa ?
16. Zoom b2.1u has all of those effects plus amp modelling, a tuner and a drum machine
17. Pleasure doing business with you also, colonel
18. I found the fatter neck on 70s reissue MIM jazzes to be far too chunky compared to the 62 reissue I had. Yet bizarrely the neck on my bass doc built precision is superb.
19.
HMmmm... yes I was thinking it was a bargain. But I bought it here as a freltless bass for £30. So I'm doing the descent thing too. Cheers guys err by the way. I'm wondering "do I really want to sell it???
If it were me, I would think twice and keep it. Buy a nice blocked neck from the bay and build it.
20.
My July 1989 issue of Guitarist magazine (yes, I have every one!) contains a review of the Blade B4 bass. It is a light ash 'J' lookalike, with front-mounted passive volume, tone and pan controls, plus a coil-tap switch. In the back is a circuit-board with trim pots for a notch filter for each pickup (to take out mains hum), and a 3-band active EQ. So - not this one then?
I vaguely recall this also
21. Thanks Steve Pleasure doing business. Glad you're happy
