2.
my clothing is static! PVC and leather stops me swinging around my bass on stage . The felt makes it frictionless. Its a godsend!
I think I fainted there ...
3. Ok thanks I got a similar "clouding" effect from immersing chrome in a mixture of toilet duck, salt and diet coke - suspect the toilet duck was the active ingredient as some cleaner contain weak hydrochloric acid.
4. I would like it please
5. Yep - regret selling mine
6.
I bought a shiny bridge cover myself, lightly sanded the shine and then left it in a plastic tub with some battery acid for a couple of days and voila.....it's pretty convincing...unlike the rhubarb/custard pickguard, need a better pickguard!!!! - will have to see if The Bass Doc is still in business.
Can I ask where the acid came from ?

13. Not big on red but that's a nice job
14. Maybe they don't use the string thru function and want a heavier bridge. Perfectly undoable
15.
Anyone going to tell me what 'ex-strings' are?
Ceased to be, expired, shuffled off this mortal coil, gone to meet their maker. ... Dead.
16. Tort for sure
17. Yep she sounds like a keeper for lots of reasons - be in a band with her and make yourself happy. Give your current band three months to replace you so they have a deadline
18. I had an ibanez srx595 which was 34" and good to play Nice and light too
19. Don't understand why these go for so little, nice basses
20. Yes - good book. Puzzled by its assertion that Jamerson had blue eyes tho,
21. Sweet home Chicago ? Train kept a rolling perhaps
22. Maiden feedback ... Alice and her equally charming husband were as punctual as could be expected for the location, easy to deal with, quick to pay and good at communicating. Happy to recommend and I'm glad that she is happy with her purchase.
23.
This may be a silly question, but if these are the original strings is it worth hanging onto them should I decide to sell in the future?
No not really
24. Oh dear - hit the screen again ... Tissue time
