  1. Even from 500 miles away (some kind of reference there possibly) that sounds like a totally amazing idea - well done @neepheid my Scottish brother from another (likely Scottish) mother @brule_lentement you have gone full-scale red carpet here. advice: Just don’t write a scathing memoir afterwards and have it published in hardback like certain princes of the realm .. 👍
  2. I’d say @brule_lentement has landed on his feet 👍
  3. Paging @neepheid
  4. Agree about the lighting. What would be ideal is a pop up clear tent - naturists model
  5. I have only been to Stockholm (arvik) I feel so untraveled we did go out of city to the lakes and the rijksmuseum though
  6. Sounds like you have the right approach, dont be afraid to ask questions
  7. You’d have to disassemble it each time but if you got one cheap then perhaps my rationale for a small pop up tent is that such things are regularly on offer at Lidl or Asda for about £20 and they pack away small
  8. Why not just buy a cheap pop up tent? zip up the door and moisten surfaces as described above and dry it out when you’re done
  9. How dare he impersonate me ? It should have come to my house, you tea leaf ! nice bass, well done
  10. That’s what you call normal
  11. I don’t think anyone is ignoring you, maybe he is unwell ? He runs a very small company @John-E-Retro
  12. My sire v7 has a good B think it’s 130 on a 34” a certain amount comes from the construction, strings aren’t the whole picture I play one for the ability to get more location options, it isn’t about playing low notes per se
  13. This is what I do in my day job. I get calls about all sorts of things I know little or nothing about from people who know less.
  14. Up to you. You asked and I signposted you. You make your own choices from there on
  15. @chris_b see below for what @Stub Mandrel is talking about
  16. I spend my time helping people achieve things in my day job, it’s no different here even if not a guru
  17. It’s a setting, I find it useful
  18. Totally. Helping people is what we do here; they don’t need to be the OP. If a lurker takes away a useful nugget of information that’s totally fine with me
  19. I respectfully disagree We have much, much older threads that come back to life, sometimes with the OP involved and sometimes not. There’s food in my fridge that’s older than this one
  20. As metals go, it’s fairly good
  21. I know - in 100 years time people will be ascribing magical qualities to fender Japan 62 reissues made of bog standard poplar. it makes me laugh
  22. I only scoop out the lower mids, like a blessed piece of fairy wood (ie. ‘62 alder, touched by Saint Leo)
  23. It changes the tone …. 🍿
