2.
Sorry to hear your tutor is moving away .... and that this is happening twice! If he is good - stick with him for the moment anyway You can learn a lot in 6 months - it's all good practice anyway, I'd say.... At least you will be more likely to recognise a good tutor, or one that suits your learning by the time you need to find another one (if indeed you do need another)
Yep totally agree

 4. sounds like a good idea, wish I had such a resource near me
 5.
I quit in 1964 right after my first go on a ciggy and coughing my lungs up. I couldn't see the point in it. Still can't.
Me too. Apart from the 1964 bit

 14. Anti recommend is alesis sr16, totally wierd programming keys**. Hear Zoom ones are easier ** I'm actually a programmer by trade and I think it (the sr16) is totally illogical and counter intuitive

 16.
I think the problem here is where it could lead. One album from a group that no one here likes is one thing but what if it got to 1,000s of albums a week? That would be a different level of annoyance and drive people away. Guess Apple would be aware of this though...
Some people who posted here do like them if you read back; i like them a bit less after this
 17. I only liked two tracks - not good odds
 18. Nitro is very old school, fender went over to acrylic in the early 70s I think so any "original" natural finishes (which I think most naturals were produced) would be poly ?
 19. He likes it and approves of the pickup and neck profile
 20. how precisely is it different to a standard precision (ignoring cosmetic considerations) ? I'm honestly curious
 21. Pretty but strapped sadly
 22.
I thought I'd had my account hacked when I first saw it. I don't particularly like U2 or hate them (obviously I hate Bono, that's standard!) but didn't feel strong enough
Even Bonobo gets tired of Bonobo sometimes, I heard him say so. "Make Bono History. Now" I say. I downloaded it and listened on way into work. Not a standout album; liked "Iris" (new order style bass) and "reach" (a decent bass driven stomper); rest fairly pedestrian. Even includes standard eigth note bassline on one tune, but it sort of works there. Will probably delete most of it except two tracks mentioned. I dont care that Apple put it there, it took up no storage until I downloaded it, and I can offload it if I want. There are bigger issues,.
 23. CH was quick to pay and good at comms. Happy to deal again.
