This bass had a signed sticker that it had passed Thomann's QC checks! [/quote] My budget Vintage has a tight neck joint, no painted over chips and shiny frets after nearly ten years . That fret wear alone is worth a return on any instrument let alone a top end one

Ok - will look that one out. In all the other pics and videos I've seen its a battered p bass - the same one I saw on the old grey whistle test performance when Joshua tree came out.

What's really ticking me off is sellers who are actually in china pretending to be shipping from within the uk
