1. I swap between reverse tuners on my jazz and normal tuners on my ibanex and also my ray copy without any difficulty. I dont think you'll find it that much of a problem.
2.
I remember a lot of pain and effort, at the end of which I could strum along to "She'll be coming round the mountain when she comes". You tell kids today that, they won't believe you.
Luxury!
3. i would advise against using parcelforce if you're just using a cardbaord box, however well-padded - they wont pay out in the event of damage in transit unless its in a hard case. I found this out the hard way,.
4. just lower the neck pickup a bit, or raise teh bridge if you can. Its quite normal.
5.
Do check carefully re-insurance. Some carriers won't insure instruments unless it's in a hard case.
Parcelforce state in their PDF guidance that guitars need to be in a hard case and they won't pay out if they aren't. Just had this happen to me and it cost me big time . 6.

I'm with him - they're cheap and cheerful and work well. Last for ages too.
7.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/17673948 Be interesting to see how U.S. and U.K. copyright laws work in this instance. I think that the damages being sought by the yanks are optimistic to say the least.
They always are, it's just a shot across the bows to encourage negotiation and early settlement rather than actual court time
8. Sadly not - I am in Nottinghamshire near sutton in Ashfield I don't think I can devote the time to running one at moment (listening to icastle and others) as I have a disabled partner and toddler with sleep issues. Will have to see if I can find one locally
9. Does anyone have any advice on getting one off the ground ? Talked to a guitard plasterer I know who suggested starting one

11. I'd like the link too please Thanks
12. Questions : who would normally pay the PayPal fees ? The buyer or the seller? Is it expected that the despatching seller pays the carriage insurance ? I assume if it's damaged in transit the seller should refund the buyer and then claim off the carrier for repair or replacement ?
13. I sold my bass on eBay - felt like id been mugged once their fees and deductions were over
14. Is this still for sale ? Would shipping be possible ?
15. Thanks to f£&king parcelforce smashing up the prosebass I now have to pay Paul rose to fix it up and then claim back off parcel force before I can contemplate spending anything Livid

18.
I had a BeatBass - their Hofner Macca Bass knockoff - and it was lovely. For the money, they're great value and I shifted mine for what I paid for it.
That's about all you can ask IMHO
19. Yes I suppose I was aware they'd be built to a price. I do like the multi wood laminate look I notice also the pickups look to be a wierd size
