2. Yep There is an IATA rule on flying prems Flag carrier airlines aren't so tightly bound so hopefully BA will fly us I couldn't get iplayer to work in us
3. Possibly - our baby was born prematurely here The airline won't let us fly home - trapped as I said.
4. Stuck in Orlando still - can someone record it for me ? MP3 perhaps
5. No idea but when the jack socket dies, be aware thAt you can get a Neutrik one for £3 from maplin
6. Oh that's just SO nice Said he in a "deeply jealous, stuck in Orlando" kind of way....
7.
Yes - but another one of their options is called 'Interparcel Standard', who have been UPS the several times I've used them.
Yep quite right and they have always been early or on time, even to Northern Ireland on a bank holiday
8.
Most courier insurances don't cover guitars or other instruments, not just MyHermes. I gotta say, I've used them quite a lot and have never had a problem.
Ups have been just fine
9.
It's got nothing to do with how they clean themselves - the primary cause of infection from a bite is bacteria from decaying food stuck between the teeth, which is exactly the same reason human bites are infectious. Cats are very fastidious animals, certainly a lot cleaner than many humans are.
And also the fecal bacteria on their tongues
10. Let's see - they clean themselves using their tongues which are next to their teeth so yes, bites will likely be an infection risk
11. Neck stretching time ....
12.
You're not being thick i find myself in the same boat with online type learning. That's why i'm ebbing on the side of getting a real live person to teach me.
I got a lot better quickly with a real teacher. My confidence grew quite a lot too
13. Just the right amount of relic IMHO
14. I'm a Suffolk local too
15. Love of learning will take you a long way
16. Thanks dude - girl 4lb 5 born in Orlando. Flying out tmrw to be there as unavoidably here in uk for the moment
17. Don't normally like red but that is quite hot
18. Tony Levin said "I'm a bass player, I enjoy doing the same thing over and over again" It's what we do, sometimes at least. Shrug. It makes people dance. Look at it this way - it could be worse, you could be a guitard I have small children (including one born yesterday); I would kill for regular jam sessions
19. Get the mim. 97 mex basses are underrated IMHO
20. Awesome
21.
I'm also particularly impressed with the quality of the Squier VM made (by Cort) in Indonesia.
Moi aussi See above
22. Nice - what sort of price are we talking ? Just curious
23. Precisions are just amazing - I tried an Indonesian squier VM p and it totally turned my head such that the bass doc built me an awesome 70s p replica in sunburst / maple / black. I keep trying to find a jazz that's as good and keep failing
