I haven’t bought anything in years. I’d like a nux mighty or an mp3 practice tool, but I probably won’t die if I don’t get one

I’d like one but cannot justify it at moment. The sunburst jazz is very black … -
You like the bass player….. but not so much his/her band.

Michael Steele, though never cared much for the bangles Mick mills, though not fond of REM -
Yeah the plywood-lookalike carpet
-
Not sure about the carpet though
-
I stand corrected though my point holds
-
I know guy pratts bass Betsy was discovered to be made from plywood in his book. like I said, if it sounds good, play it till it breaks
-
There’ll be a sanding sealer/filler sprayed on the contour to disguise the exposed rough ends of the ply - that’s why Conmon with plywood bodies on 90s Korean strats
-
I think it makes a tiny difference, having tried it, but I’m not sure that the difference is worth the ££
-
I can’t find him via search, or the @ can someone post his username ?
-
The dark paint over the forearm contour is a dead giveaway that it’s not great wood HOWEVER as we all know wood contributes little to the sound of electric bass 🍿 so if it sounds good, totally play it till it breaks
-
You’ve taken up weaving ?
-
yes, I shall repay it through the medium of “baseball bat” artfully combined with location of “dark alley”. Or I could just sit in his empty “open mic (as long as it’s not a bass)” night and watch
-
Tried messaging him but got a fail that he doesn’t accept messages

Is k10gon still making them ? Or does anyone else ? I’d like a replacement p bass with grease bucket and a no load tone pot thanks

@ahpook I went to the bowling green, in Ashby de La zouche it was raucous and wild. I didn’t play as I had to do shopping after (rock and roll!) but chatted to the house band and host. Found them on a Facebook group called “open mics midlands” Host invited me to message him some choices so house band can do homework. Runs every two weeks on a Thursday. Said they have lots of guitarists and drummers but bass players are quite rare. One lady did a storming version of two Motown songs

I think he is drawing our attention to software that might infringe our privacy in the name of advertising. I’ve seen his posts for many years and he seems pretty sane so other than slight amusement at Dwayne’s name, I don’t see an issue here ?

I have a metric ton of these Pm me with your needs

Yep don’t listen to him, it’ll be donkey 😛

I played the classic 50s model, which is basically the red one and that was superb

Not at all - improvising is much easier than you think. I’ve got small children and get to a jam night once a month max. I’ve not practiced in years as kids and diy mountain don’t allow. At @How1 also I got thrown in the deep end by a rude OM night host (just this Friday gone) who wouldn’t even tell me what song was next. I had to work it out, google the chords and come up with something, really quickly. Luckily there are sone basic rules about what works and I swam, sort of, rather than sank. I expected to sink, as you do. If you read my started threads, the story is there where are you located ? Either of you that is?
