In uk law, unless it’s changed since my law degree anything that’s a custom order you’re pretty much stuck with unless it is manifestly useless, eg a fridge with a custom paint job but that doesn’t actually refrigerate food -

I’ve had lots of conversations about it at OM and jams specifically because guitards and drummers noted my bass. lady who runs my local night found herself a band out of people who’d got up to play, so it can work

They do because the bass riff was edges, and Adam had walked out of recording as he didn’t like the song. I think it shows still in the nonchalant way he plays the guitar part

They usually swap instruments for this, i think they do it on blood red sky, though I don’t recall what bass edge played - probably the Ibanez short scale
