  1. I think you should put a strat neck on, and some horseshoes and list it on eBay as a new invention, like he who shall not be named
  2. Excuse my ignorance- what cab spec would you pair with the bugera?
  3. I don’t keep the music in my phone but thanks anyway
  4. I think it’s a bit 1972…and as the father of two daughters, more than a bit unnecessary; I did think we’d moved on from this kind of comment
  5. Needs to have headphone socket, mp3 /cd input and produce at least “ok” bass tone, I don’t need mountains of effects any recommendations?
  6. Why not just measure the intonated lengths of the strings on a BBOT and use those lengths to place the middle of the staggered rail saddles ?
  7. Weather with you - not a song I really connected with
  8. @StickyDBRmf it’s “boot” that we call the same thing you call “trunk”, hood==bonnet I think there may be some other localisation issues here; is “conservatory” something you’d grow vegetables in ? We call that a greenhouse or glasshouse. A conservatory is something else entirely here … a plastic or metal framed extension to the house with a lot of double glazed glass panels. Used for the three days of summer sunshine we get and ignored for the other 362 days when it’s too cold to use
  9. What “Japanese fender jazz” was this ? I’ve a feeling I may have bought it off him
  10. I’d sand the skunk stripe back - had exactly the same issue with Leigh Gordon’s early Mex p bass. It never moved or got worse id guess at basswood for cheapness, post a pic maybe ? Might be some clues in the routings
  11. ACG have been doing this for a while I think
  12. It is - you’re bang to rights you scrote. Last time I checked The Law It’s a fourteen-stretch for a crime like that. And you get to share with Bubba and his knuckle tattoos “Lvoe” and “Hait”
  13. You’re probably okay leaving it In there for just four hours each day 👍
  14. Mine got insanely hot - even the cat couldn’t stand it
  15. I was listing three tort plates once, predictably each had a slightly different pattern. I offered buyers the chance to choose the one they wanted before despatch (or take a random one). Every single buyer complained it wasn’t the one they wanted. How hard is “reading words” exactly?
  16. @tegs07 I just refer them to the text and tell them the answers are in there. If they’re bothered they’ll read it
  17. Yes gumtree buyers have been 100% flaky for me. Not a single one who could breathe in and out with reminding themselves not to stop.
