I was thinking of how to match the convenience of a flip lid and mag strips match it. screws not so much. @JellyKnees can you show us the inside ?

You could use mag strips to hold a 3D printed in place then no hinges and no screws

Maybe someone could 3D print one for you ? @rwillett and Sam have that capability

Photos might help ? a ruler alongside might be a good idea

I’m sorry if it sounded like I was dissing the craftsmanship; I was definitely not. it was just a joking allusion to the eternal “tone wood” vs “it’s just wood, get a grip” debate. so no major difference in tone ? I’d settle for “looks nicer but harder to relic” in your shoes

I had some spare a while back - didn’t need them as they were guitar sized. They seemed a good product

It’s about give and take where two people share a space, and have differing interests and priorities. I’m imagining that @basexperience allows her some latitude for her things in say, another room, or a portion of their garden or somesuch. Example: I don’t complain about my partners display cabinet being in the lounge because she doesn’t complain about a wall hanging bass and a cab on the floor.

Go for it. Find yourself (one day) a 100watts @ 8ohm cab (ask on here in Items Wanted) and you’re good to go
