Cheap and very good Warwick RedLabel 045-105 Electric Bass Strings https://amzn.eu/d/8U2kJar I only play these or adagio flats from eBay - I don’t play well enough or often enough to justify paying more, and IMHO super-expensive strings are not a quantum leap better at my level of expertise

    I have a no-load tone pot. It bypasses the pot entirely on 10, and I turn it to about 5 when I don’t want pure P pickup on full bore .

    You’re forgetting about the week before that when you bought all my equipment, this amp and cab, plus a Yamaha on Monday and Tuesday and then shifted it all by Friday to make way for the 750/goliath, which came in through the revolving door 😛
