1. Loving the look of the headstock!
2. I'd almost forgotten I even owned an electric guitar till a room clearout yesterday! For sale is a Squier jagmaster, it was bought new about 2002/2003. I wanted to at the time learn a bit of guitar along with bass, but to be honest it never sparked my interest quite like the lowend did so I didn't really get very far with it. Therefore it hasn't been used much at all. There is however the odd ding/scratch on the body. It will be supplied with a Ritter soft case. Price is £100 ONO, I know there may not be a lot of interest here on a bass forum but just thought I'd offer it up here before heading for Ebay. Photos to follow, a few phone problems today! Cheers Joe
3. Sold pending...
4. Depends on the venue & crowd. My band normally always starts with either Long train running or Vertigo though.
5.
Is it still avaible?
Yes it is mate Now not looking at trades, gotta face up to the fact I need the cash!
6. I'd normally go with blue over red, but damn that red looks good!!
7.
One of the things that puts me off here, is how some stuff goes through a lot of people pretty quickly.
You'd never really know if this was happening on Ebay though, only because of the presence of an online community here is it really possible to keep track of your departed gear. I sold a MIM jazz bass on Ebay a couple of years ago, I later realised the sentimental value of it & I'd love to know purely out of interest where it is now I always put gear on here first before heading to Ebay. Saying that though there have been times when I have ended up with a lot better results on Ebay. For example I listed a Warwick Rockbass here for £160 or so that didn't budge for a couple of weeks, I put it on the bay with a starting price of £150 & it went for some thing like £230! When the MIM jazz went on I had a very rude lady messaging me repeatedly offering half the starting price, she then started bidding last min, I prayed she wouldn't get it! Luckily she didn't & it went off to a nice bloke in Cornwall.
8. Bad times for selling basses clearly
9. Price dropped again. EDIT: as now not looking at trades
10. Price drop. This bass needs a good home. Guys make me an offer, I won't bite!
11. Bought Gareth's Sadowsky Metro. A pleasure to do business with: excellent contact, upfront & no messing around. Arrived this morning, sooner than expected. Well packed & Gareth wasn't lying when he said mint condition, theres not a mark, dent or scratch anywhere over the bass, it could pass for brand new. Anyway enough waffling! Really pleased mate, cheers!
12. Just to mention the bass is string through with a tapered E string.
13. Dave, Yeah an absolutely beautiful combo! I never noticed I hadn't filled out location! Thanks for the heads up
14.
Maybe sell something else? Surely a kidney would be missed less.
You have got 2.
15.
This is, in fact, my ideal bass. Brand, model, colours? Spot on. I hope the lucky sod who gets this enjoys it at least half as much as I would. Good luck with the sale!
Yeah same mate - but then why the sale I hear you ask?! I'm getting a sadowsky & just can't justify both.
16.
Dear Christ, I need to get a job.
Glad you like!
17.
I managed to play one of these today in Birmingham PMT - it was pretty damned nice. They're £700 new so this is pretty good !
I thought they'd discontinued the model? Seeing as Myung is a Musicman endorsee now n' all.
18. Very nice! Will be keeping an eye on this.
19.
About ten years ago, I picked up a '72 Rick 4001 that someone had found in their parents' loft. Not everyone is a villain.
Ah but that was parents! An uncle is clearly the fraudster's relative of choice.
20.
Thanks very much, looks like they may have what I'm after! I'm thinking of getting the tortoise shell - red or brown? hmmm
Get red mate, looks good on a jazz. My MIA is sunburst, it came with the red tort guard as standard, not really in to tort though so I replaced it with a black one.
