Seems more like name 30 bass players you can think of to me. There seemed little logical basis for that list IMO.

Hmm yeah would expect to have to give it a set up, hopefully nothing too drastic though. I'll check my finances, 60 odd quid shouldn't be too much of a stretch right now.

The E string looks a bit further away than the other string spacing, unless you took the photo at a slight angle?

I did Rock School Grade 5 in 2004, enjoyed it. Hmm maybe I should do grade 8, something to do & a reason to get me playing more.

Wonder why he's selling it, would have thought from his little story that that bass would be his most treasured possession. Also really doubt he paid anything near that amount!

Knob If you do go back perhaps after agreeing the pay ask for it just before you're about to go on? Any excuses about a delay then threaten to walk out with a pub packed full of people waiting to see you?

Seems that it's being marketed as a bass for beginners IMO, or at least the amateur musician who just wants to have fun. Hence I wouldn't expect it to cost a lot, which would make you assume it's no where near the quality of his Modulus or say a Stingray etc... Couldn't therefore imagine him actually endorsing this as his working instrument.
