  1. new bridge in 2020, new truss rod in 2023
  2. Price are not so crazy, due to the fact that EB/MM reduced production in the USA and improved (as they state) QC. Considering ramping inflation all around the world, the prices of these new Classics are in line with the Fender CS offering, and they are better IMHO.
  3. MM used nitro until 1978/1979, so the Retro 76 edition was vintage correct.
  4. Swap for gold hardware... Gold on Gold
  5. GM-800 is an awesome box. It relies on the new developed A2B protocol. The ZEN-core is a massive, modular synth engine that could be expanded in the future with many things. Definitely in my wish list (I have a SY-1000 that I keep in order to have HRM modelling)
  6. What? Are NEW Dan Armstrong basses out there??!?!
  7. The white pickguard is included in the Limited Edition Rio Bass package as an alternative for the black one.
  8. I preordered one here in Italy
  9. Here in Italy is 3K euro
  10. in CAD were 3.365,00. I think "$2,700" are in USD
  11. See the intonation screw on the front of the saddle (left to the strings)
  12. By turning the intonation screws( that are hidden under the strings in the picture you posted...)
  13. The bass will came in 82 pieces Limited Edition with Rio graphics, fancy inlay at 12th fret, custom wall hanger, Hipshot Xtender, custom case and string package. The standard unlimited production is black, vintage white and seafoam green, without all the cool stuff, and will be put in production later.
  14. I found one in Sweden. It's on its trip to Italy 😄
  15. Luckly, they were discontinued soon. Ugly as hell
  16. The Neve preamp would be the real killer! I bet which "guitar company" is the one mentioned by Sheldon...
  17. Indeed! And seems that the production bass has an ebony (or phenolic) fretboard
  18. As I dreamed that bass for years, I'm more than ready to put my £££ into it... ...but I live in Italy, and here in Europe the bass is available no more. Seems that a lot of people have four grand for a bass
  19. It's sufficient that Sheldon put that bass into production! 😝
  20. From minute 1:04:25 they discuss the JT "Rio Dream Bass" with preview of the model!
  21. BTW I have to fully understand yet the usefulness of Channel 2, as I prefer Channel 1 by far...
  22. I found "useful bass tones" (someone tells me what it means, please) with those settings, that I set up to create two almost identical-sounding channels: I used my brand new AVII 1966 JB, with bridge pickup at 80%, neck pickup at 20% and the tone knob rolled off a bit. I don't like cranking the bass knob on the amp all the way up, as the bass frequencies get out of control in a studio environment. I think 10 is the max level to have a booming bass sound (which I don't personally like, preferring more controlled and focused bass frequencies).
