A friend of mine from Italy is leaving London next week so i've got to see him before he goes! Hope ya'll have a good time!
pfffft slacker you owe us all a drink, y'realise? Pullin out at the last minute is only acceptable in one situation, if you know what I mean!
 2.
According to that it's in 2009
re-post in the Fail thread anyone? I'm sure it doesn't matter, we all know when it is

 4.
Why not put them both on the same badge, unless you want to use your full title and were named after a football team?
well, Phil_the_bassist kinda gives enough clues to my true identity to make a second name badge for myself kinda superfluous but you do have a point, as long as the tags are big enough! Hell, to go with the social group that's gonna be meeting, we might as well use (the musicians friend) gaffer tape! take a bit and write your name on it, job done! everyone tagged for £2! *edit* Cheers Al! */edit*
 5. won't we need two? BC identity and real life identity?
 6.
I have a few basses, at the moment they're all on Hercules stands. Can anyone recommend a really good wall hanger that I can have put up for me please. I was looking at this one, but the maximum weight is only about 3lbs more than my heaviest bass, which is my beloved Sei, I'd hate it if it fell off or something. http://www.stringsdirect.co.uk/products/25...t_guitar_hanger
Just a quick note: If your neck is made from some of the softer woods (maple being one example) I'd be circumspect about hanging it by the headstock without something to support the body. I know it's a common practice to hang stuff on walls, but I found it really f***ed up my setup when I used to hang my MM. If you think of the physics of all the weight of the body pulling on the thinnest bit of the neck, it may start doin untoward things to your bass. Merely a heads up, is all!
 7. Welcome to Basschat! Don't listen to your Mrs, it's not a midlife crisis, it's a midlife finding-the-true-path-to-ultimate-happiness
always something going in the Basschat market place.
It took me about a week to find my first purchase, and now I've probably sunk more into the collective BC money pool than any other music shop in the past year
 8. I have to admit, Doods dot layout on his beast is pretty nice, but that's prolly cos the additional dots make it look more like some artistic addition rather than functional feature.
 9.
You my friend are as sick as that Ric.
mayhaps, but you have to admit it's got some charm!
 10.
My other half is excatley the same, when i first met her she was a bit ashamed to admit that she never listened to the Bassline..... now she knows it's there & she listens to all her fave tracks all have strong Basslines. She loves Bass now. I'm trying to convince her to learn a instrument at the moment.
Mrs PTB was the same, now she's seen the light I've also started teachin her some bits, and she's got a natural groove that's pretty awesome! Her most recent musical conquest is the funky main guitar riff in Superstition...*sob* I'm so proud!
