Have you got the + & - the right way round?
Please excuse my stupidity but I don't know what that means... When it comes to pedals and whatnot I'm literally useless. How would I check this?

Hi! Whilst setting up at a gig last night I noticed no power was showing for any of the effects on my pedalboard although the power supply was showing power. After investigation it would seem that when my Aguilar Octamizer pedal is introduced into the power supply, it kills the power to every other pedal. It is not in a daisy chain and is connected via a 9v input into my PSU via it's own socket. As soon as it is removed from the PSU all the other pedals have power again. I have tried the pedal on its own and it still does not draw any power and the led does not come on. Knowing very little about these things I am asking if anyone knows what may have happened or if my pedal is repairable? I'm a bit gutted as it's a reasonably pricey pedal and I only bought it last month on here! Thanks

I feel inclined to agree with DavidMckay. They look like crap as well. -

This is my reliable Gallien Krueger RB700 mk2 bass head in great condition. It has served me well and is only being moved on due to getting a good deal on another amp head elsewhere. I would keep it if I had the opportunity but I fear my testicles may be in danger if my missus found out. The 'Contour' and 'Presence' nobs were scratching but I gave them a quick clean with contact cleaner and it pretty much cleared that up. I am based in Exeter so buyer can collect or I can post at buyers expense. Here are the specs: 700RB-II • 480 watts (4 ohms) plus 50 watt Horn bi-amp system • Active 4-band EQ • Adjustable contour, presence & 4/5 string voicing • Boost (valve effect) • Seperate tweeter & woofer volume controls • Effects loop & tuner out with mute • XLR out with level, ground lift & pre/post switch • Speakon & 1/4" outputs • 19x3.5x8 (2 rack spaces) • 19.5 lbs.(ca. 10,5kg) Here are the pics: Thanks!

I have tried and tried and tried but I just can't get along with Fender's. They just feel 'clunky'.

So, today it randomly turned up.. 2 weeks and 2 days later. The tracking wasn't updated either. Here she is (With my Infinity).

My Buckeye Burl Stream CS arrived today to partner my Infinity.
-
That's not making me feel any better. So frustrating. I don't know where the hell my bass is?! It's not like it's a Custom Shop Warwick or anything....
-
Still no update. Surely there is a delay but not a delay of almost 2 weeks?!
Channel tunnel / cross channel ferries are delaying a lot of incomings from and outgoings to European mainland due to all the French strikes and migrant problems
Thought this may be causing issues but 6 days?! Is anyone else experiencing excessively long delays ordering from Europe at the moment? I bought a CS Warwick Streamer off of somebody in Germany a couple of weeks ago and it is STILL not here yet. It took a week for it to be dropped off to Parcelforce within Germany and then said it was in transit to the UK last Friday with no updates since. I am ready to kill at this moment in time as I have some gigs coming up this weekend too with no 5 strings in sight.

Palm mute technique and shoulder/hand pain
funkyjimbob replied to mike313's topic in Theory and Technique
Hi, I use this position regularly for fingerstyle and palm-muted slap techniques. It did take me a while to get used to but I can play there for as long as needed now. Maybe try altering the height of your bass if you are bending your wrist into a weird position? I never got bad pain though so thinking you may be 'forcing' your hand into this position. -
I hope no-one minds me linking to it but here is the feedback from Mol in regards to a sale. He accidently put it in the listing. I have attached the link to said comment to. "Jim, Many thanks for the "Dirty Blonde". Agreed the sale on Saturday afternoon and arrived Tuesday morning well packaged and with a fantastic hard case to protect the bass. The bass is in fantastic condition and sounds great. All I can say is good things. Great correspondence and service. Many thanks. A really great fellow bass player to have dealt with. Cheers." http://basschat.co.uk/topic/249965-warwick-streamer-stage-1-5-string-and-warwick-thumb-bass-dirty-blonde/page__view__findpost__p__2679321

Just bought Matt's Aguilar Octamizer pedal off of him. Deal was done and dusted with pedal in my hand in about a day. Good communication and very easy to deal with. Would highly recommend.

Warwick Broadneck - how much can you adjust the string spacing?
funkyjimbob replied to funkyjimbob's topic in Bass Guitars
I'm sure it can, didn't try it with mine but could be done, neck still wide though Instead, you could just stick with the infinity and let me nab the buckeye Streamer
Ha I wish Kev but I've been after a Streamer Stage 1 (since I sold my last one anyway) for a while and almost wet my pants. If I start to play one more than the other you will me the first to know. -
Warwick Broadneck - how much can you adjust the string spacing?
Orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, i could take it off your hands
The Infinity 4 is going to go but the 5 is staying! -
Hi! I am currently wondering if any of you lovely people can give me advice in regards to this question? Basically, I had a Streamer Stage 1 which I loved, but then I moved over to Infinity's and therefore moved from broadneck to the standard string spacing. I have been offered quite an awesome Streamer Stage 1 but it is obviously a broadneck, Could the spacing feasibly be moved in to 18mm? If not, has anyone had any luck playing basses with two different string spacings? Is it hard to get used to? Thanks
