1. Price drop. New price £1550.
2. Hi, I am looking to sell it ideally but am considering swap deals for any high-end Warwicks. Thanks
3. C'mon guys... You know you want it..
4. I wish someone would buy my Zon Sonus 6 so I could afford that Thumb 6!!
5. How long is that? Well I hope so but you never know! Where all all the 'wicks too? Get tradin' guys!
6. 16.5 mm I believe. Will double check tomorrow.
7. I believe it that string spacing is correct, yes. It really is a lovely bass I just don't get to use it! All these replies are making me want to keep it! Haha
8. Price drop - 1500 I am thinking about selling or trading my near-mint condiion Zon Sonus 6 Custom. I rarely use it and feel it may be put to better use by someone who would play it more. The bass itself is in near-perfect condition, albeit for a tiny couple of very faint marks on the headstock. The bass is spalted maple top, graphite 34" scale neck, phenowood fretboard and comes with Bartolini pickups made for Zon. Here are the full specs: http://www.zonguitar...nuscustom6.html I am ideally looking for cash or I am looking for high-end Warwicks, and specifically a Warwick Infinity birdseye (with the f-holes). Here are some pics of the bass. As I said, it really is in great condition and is an absolutely fantastic bass! Please pm for information. I am based in Exeter in the South West of England co potential buyers can pickup or meet me somwhere reasonably near-by. I can post too which can be arranged by buyer. Thanks!
9. Bought Chris' Dirty Blonde off of him over the weekend. Was friendly and was a quick easy transaction and Chris made the effort to meet me halfway. Cheers!
10. Oh my! if only I had seen this last year before I bought my Zon Sonus Custom 6..
11. I may be interested in this bass. I am based in Exeter in Devon though, Would you be willing to deliver?
12. Thanks for the replies guys. I was looking at the Aguilar Tonehammer 500 as it's a reasonable price too but was keen on a valve or hybrid but not 100%. Is the sound very 'Aguilar'? Also my local (Mansons) has an Aguilar ag500. What's the deal with these as can't find any info about them on the Aguilar site. Also Ray, I have the head plus 410 GK cab if you are interested at all?
13. Hi, I don't post here very often but felt this was a good time to do so as I am looking to upgrade my amp. I currently have a Gallien Krueger RB700mk2 which I like but feel that it isn't what I am looking for sound wise. I am a big fan of the Aguilar heads and have been looking at these but I have been out of the loop in the last few years in regards to bass amps and am really quite lost! I am going to trade in my GK head and go for something ideally valve. I am a big fan of Stu Zender (Jamiroquai era) so that's why Aguilar first came to mind but if there are any other companies and brands people were to suggest then I will take a look! So trade-in for GK (a few hundred pound?) and I reckon about 4-500 quid. Does anyone have good suggestions for a nice valve head for that price? Thanks!
14. I am new to this site so hope I'm doing this right! I just purchased a Zon Sonus 6 from Mr B today. Very nice guy and has the most amazing collection of basses I have seen! I didn't want to leave as I kept on discovering more basses tucked away! Will definitely be interested in anything he has to offer in future. Was very quick and easy to deal with! Top man!
15. Hi, Haven't been on here in a while so excuse my noob-ness! I am not so clued up when it comes to amps and can't really get into my local dealer to see a tech due to work commitments. Bass-icly (arf, arf), my amp is making some strange noises, especially when the treble dial is turned up past 12 o'clock on the head. The sound I can only describe as sort of a warping, muddy sound and is only really present with an increased treble as stated before. The low end of the amp seems fine. My rig is a Gallien Kruger RB700 mk2 with 410 RBX cab and my basses = Warwick Streamer Stage 1 5 and Warwick Thumb BO BN 5. Any suggestions or ideas as to what this may be? Thanks in advance.
16.
You never know what you might spot in a pawn / cash converter type place. I once picked up a Spector fretless 4 for £100 in one. The same place had an amazing Tom Anderson quilted maple top guitar for a few hundred quid but I couldn't afford it at the time.
That is crazy.. I am going to check these shops regulary from now on.. I have found a few old Warwicks in them...
17.
Here's a Fortress One from the bass museum site for comparison .. Fortress One
yes thats the exact headstock
18. Hi Guys, While bored on my way home last night I wandered into a local pawn shop and hanging on the wall was what looks like an 80's Warwick Fortress One.... How would I be able to tell this is an old one? I have had many Warwicks myself and this is different in the way the headstock has smooth edges and the old school truss rod adjust cover but after checking the rest of the bass there was nothing that really gave any more clues... It was listed at 400 quid and is in good condition. In dire, dire need of a setup but apart from that in good condition. How much do these go for as if I can make a quick buck I will purchase it! Or shall I steer clear? Thanks
19. Hi, I'm new here so hello!! I have a Warwick Streamer Stg 1 5 and I love it, but I'm into wide string spacing and not everyone is too keen on it. The neck is very wide and chunky. Love it though.. I presume thats a second hand price? pardon my stupidtiy....
