1. This is a custom A/B pedal I had made that was used to swtich between wireless and wired when gigging live. As you can see, I had the two options for 'wireless' and 'wired' (connected to my Smoothound wireless system on the pedalboard) which I would simply change if I needed to go wired for a particular gig. Can be used as just an A/B box. No PSU included.
2. I am selling my used SmoothHound classic wireless guitar system plus a custom guitar cable I had made so that you can clip the tooth end into your belt or pocket. It's all in very good condition and has a few scratches etc you would expect from being gigged but nothing major. Included: transmitter, receiver tooth, PSU and custom tooth extension cable to plug into the guitar. Thanks
3. Hi, I am selling my Shure PSM200 IEM system due to leaving my main gigging function band. The unit has been in a rack for the last two years and has been well-gigged but is in perfect working order. The transmitter box is in very good condition and has benefitted from being in a rack and therefore has been protected for it's gigging life. The receiver is also in good condiion albeit for a few scrapes and bumps you would expect from being well-gigged. There is a small chip next to one of the holes that holds the metal clip in place but this hasn't caused me any issues over 2-3 years worth of 2-3 hours function gigs in quite an energetic band. Comes with a PSU but unfortuantely no headphones. They were the entry level ones anyway so I would reccommend getting a higher quality pair. Here's info on the whole unit - https://www.shure.co.uk/products/in_ear_monitoring/psm200 - They retail new for about £420. Thanks
4. Given the amount of money Warwick charge for their instruments and accessories nowadays you'd hope this would be the case! I love Warwick btw.
5. Yes it certainly is
6. I am based in Cardiff and finish my current contract in December 2018... Unfortunately I am 34 so a few years over your required age bracket! I act like one though if that helps?
7. I used to think this as well as and I would still love my Infinity to be a broadneck but I am used to the string spacing now. I can jump between my Streamer Stage 1 and Infinity pretty easily. Just takes time to adjust initially
8. I'm going to invest in a splitter so I have the choice of wired / wireless I think.
9. But yet the system works fine at gigs outside of that particular bands setup (when playing with other bands) and also at home (I live in an apartment in a town centre where when scanning for Wifi channels before I found about 35 AP's of surrounding apartments and businesses)
10. @SmoothHoundChris it is me you are talking to so thanks for the further info. just thought I'd try on here to see if anyone else could offer any advice as to why I may be getting issues. I am going to go early to our next gig and try and find out what the issues are.
11. Has anyone else experienced cutting out around other wireless equipment? I've had to abandon mine for live performances now as it is compeltey unusable. We have a wireless X32 desk, wireless mics and my guitarist uses a line 6 g30. I tested it at home and it runs fine. Infuriating as everyone here seems to be having no problems whatsoever
12. Picked up one of these last week and absolutely love it. It's incredible.
13. I tried several US and CS p-basses and didn't get a long with a single one. Picked up a Mexican and loved it. Put some Aguilar P60 pups in it and voila!
14. Oh my lord!!
15.
yep me also
Me too
16. Here's a pic of my Buckeye Burl Custom Shop Streamer Stage 1 from a gig a few days ago
17. Bought a Grvugear Duo strap from Cameron. Was easy to talk to, deal with and would happily do business with him today. Prompt delivery too!
18.
'nuff said
I don't think anyone is saying that he's not a good player. He just seemed to be OTT on the Glasto gig to the point where it was detrimental to the music. An example that stuck out in my head was this bit. https://youtu.be/rEzr3O8pPDM?t=248 The little slide thing that starts at 4.10. He was just continually doing things like this which didn't sound particularly great at all and took away from the groove. He's obviously a great player though.
19. To whoever was asking about Rag n Bone man's bass. His name is Bill Banwell from down my way and he has got some serious chops. Used to post on here a few years back. Google him if you want to see his stuff, there's plenty out there.
20.
You know, I love Chic. But although the band is indeed mostly killing it I really wish someone would cut Jerry's thumb off. He embodies a type of player that many bass players seem to want to be but which doesn't interest me at all. Horrible glassy bass sound and, for me, overplaying in the context of what I love about the original band. Sorry!
Exactly my thoughts. Some of i was completely unnecessary and ruined the songs. And i love slap! Hated the tone too. Was still great to watch though (as Chic always are)
21.
This is an American standard right.?
My first thoughts. Is it new?
22. Played on this with my Streamer Stage 2 custom shop straight into the desk. Was fun! Bit of laid back soul-y stuff. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xeql9khrA00 Hope everybody likes it. Feedback welcome (nice and not nice)
23.
Strange looking bridge saddle setup. Why are the B and E string saddles much lower then the rest?
Ignore this post. It was my Streamer not my Infinity! Doh!
24.
Set up numbers.? Why don't you just set it up to an action that feels good.Set it up as a Fender Jazz.? I'm confused.
This. Surely just adjust until it feels comfortable to you and your playing style?
