1. Taxis for Mr. Warwickhunt and Mr.Lager
2. Apparently it's an early version which does have a tweeter. You can just about make it out in the picture if you look at the top right hand corner of the combo.
3.
In a recent bass deal I ended up with a Gator Extreme case - it's designed to fit every kind of weird or pointy guitar, using lots of velcro foam blocks that fit around the guitar. It's as new, still has tags on, and the key is inside. It's no use to me. Anyone want it for a tenner? Collection from Holloway, or I can meet you in central London. It's one of these: http://www.gatorcases.com/productsmodeldet...=114&MID=87 http://www.imuso.co.uk/ProductDetail.asp?StockCode=AC00094
Yes, please (there are some benefits of playing weird shaped short-scales ). I'll send a pm about meeting up in London. Thanks Stu
4. I thought Overwater sold Bag End's?
5. Let me add my thanks to Nik and Merton for arranging the day (...and soooo close to my home as well ). Great to put faces to names, and appreciate the chance to try out some amazing basses... ACG (Andy), Wal (walman, not surprisingly), RIM (Alex) etc. - thanks guys. Also, Joe did a great set up on my Mustang (now withdrawn from the 'for sale' section!) and some interesting talks. And finally, just a comment... bass players are such nice people - I wonder if lead guitarists have similar get togethers??!!
6. Thanks Rasta for your interest. Would prefer collection if possible, or I could drive about an hour from Surrey or Reading. That said, if postage were only option it would be at buyers cost using courier of their choice. I would package it up well, but for my own peace of mind I'd suggest insured coverage to protect against clumsy delivery people
7. Partial trade considered for high end cab (Schroeder or equiv.)
8.
You're a few months too late with this
Probably... just found it on you tube (37 year olds, like me, aren't the most up to date on this stuff ). Made me chuckle anyway as I wasn't expecting it
9. Please watch this... it is pure genius at work 15 Steps
10. great fun! Any relation to this guy (Paul McC's drummer)? Abe Laboriel Jnr.
11. Several people interested but just waiting on concrete offer If you're looking for powerful, lightweight, high-quality combo you can't go wrong

13. Thanks guys - appreciate the advice. I've done what was suggested, given up on timestretching and just set a simple drum loop to record over. I have a few riffs with no drums but can always re-record them based around a drum track. many thanks Stu
14.
have an 'I wish I weren't about to become a student and therefore am unable to afford this' bump.
thanks for the bump Zach - all good things come to those who wait (...erm....job, mortgage etc.) so enjoy the student mullarky while it lasts
15. many thanks Alex - that should do it
16. Would really appreciate advice from anyone who has tried to fit a Mesa Boogie 400+ in a Gator Shallow 4U case I want the case to be as small and light as possible, but it still needs to fit! In theory I think it should just about fit but I'd welcome any views Many thanks Stu
17. Just wondered if it was possible to stretch a section recorded as a 'real instrument' so that it fits with the chosen time signature - looked at the manual and that doesn't seem to help. There are about 10 options for different time signatures and changing these doesn't seem to work. The end result I'm looking for is that I have been recording some bass riffs and would like to save them as loops, so that I can integrate them with garageband drum loops etc. (I'd rather just capture the bass, and build drums around it) Thanks folks!! Stu
