EDIT - OK, well....I played this again through my new Mark Bass combo and... this baby is going absolutely nowhere Great looking and playing bass that was apparently featured in the film 'School of Rock' (....er... wasn't mine that was in the film). I strung it with TI flats, which are perfectly suited to it and help give it a great well rounded sound. Sexy looking bass, but I need to sell to fund my next amp. Not sure what it's worth so ping me an offer. Thanks Stu

(although I'm glad of the tip to turn the other annoying dross off via the menus )
What a deal! Im not in much position to be making offers at the moment im afraid, Am i right in assuming its about 300w at 4 ohms?
According to the manual it's 250W @ 4 ohms and 500W @ 2ohms. Also, weighs just 11 lbs 7 oz. I've sold my cabs to BassJase (really nice guy b.t.w.), but a couple of folks on this site have matching Yamaha cabs for sale.

Alive - Matt Helders from the Artic Monkeys is a fabulous drummer. Awesome intro to Brianstorm -
Thoroughly nice guy. Bought my old hard case a couple of years back.

EDIT - can deliver to Leeds or southwards along the M1 this Saturday (23rd Feb). Offers around £130! Alternatively you could get your hands on this and my lovely DeArmond Jet Star and Roland Bass Cube for only £350!! Unfortunately I am needing the let this excellent short scale bass go to a good home. The Gretsch synchromatic basses were made from 1990-2003 and so are no longer available and I haven't seen any others in the UK (I bought this new from the States a few years ago). This model is a 30" short scale with one humbucker. Great for getting a thumping old school sound. It also has a really cool Les Paul body shape which looks wonderful (IMHO of course ). Reviews below: Harmony Central Reviews - Gretch Synchromatic Jet Bass BGRA Review - Gretch Electromatic Jet Bass The bass is in good condition but in true honest BassChat form I'll point out a couple of small dings - one at the bottom of the bass (about 1mm dia), almost unnoticable ding on headstock and some minor circular indentations near the pick up. Have tried to make these clear in the pictures but have needed to use some weird angles and lighting to make these show in the photos. Due to the imminent arrival of a Warwick 5 string, I would be strung up by the you-know-what's if I had three basses 'cluttering the house', so I need to let it go Undoubtedly I'll have sellers remorse over this one as it's a great little bass and dead easy to play (even for me!) but the two bass rule sticks and it's a waste putting it in the loft. Comes complete with as new Warwick soft guitar case (yes, it fits in a guitar case!). Not sure on price, so would be looking for offers around [s]£175[/s] NOW REDUCED TO JUST £130 collected from near Guildford, Surrey, or could meet within reason. (SEE UPDATE ON DELIVERY A FEW MESSAGES BELOW) Just p.m. me with any interest Thanks Stu
