Also noticed 'bearfist' selling both his DG M900 & BF BTII .. ? I would have thought that a match made in heaven ?! So any more thoughts etc most welcome as I'm still undecided (and saving lol) cheers Simon

Yup there have been a couple of M900s appearing in the FS section recently, which is a little surprising given the rave reviews they seem to have had and so soon after release? Perhaps not quite the amp head folk were expecting?
Dont read to much into it from me at least, my moving them on isn't a reflection of either item being disappointing. With the M900 it's more to do with the Mesa being for me at least an unbelievable amp, to a certain extent i expected this would happen (going back to the Mesa after trying the M900 for a while) The Darkglass is fantastic and deserves the reviews its getting but if i had one criticism it would be the clean channel is a bit dull or maybe transparent is a better word but that's kind of the point of it, this amp is all about the 2 distortion circuits, the thing is i'm not using them now as the New Darkglass pedal is pretty much my perfect dirt so i may as well go back to the best small amp ive ever used and get pretty much my perfect base tone to build on, thats all. The Big Twin's also killer and yes it sounds amazing with the Darkglass as i would imagine any of the 12 inch driver line from Barefaced would but im just curious about the !0 inch stuff they do and wouldn't mind being modular for convenience. Ive never really been a fan of really 'transparent' gear, i like a bit of colour from my stuff, its part of the fun for me building a rig that all the parts add something and compliment each other rather than just making me louder. i like that that Cali76 adds something to my tone for example, theres a tone of comps that can do the job of a compressor but if i'm paying £300 plus for one i sure as hell want it to do something to my tone and thats kind of the motivation behind the cab change, i like the idea of the Barefaced Retro line adding a little something to the party. For What its worth i reckon the Two 10 will sound killer with the M900, if i was keeping it i would definitely be getting a couple or looking at the Four 10 or even the Six 10 if i was sticking with a big single cab.

Kev, its absolutely fabulous, and there's really not much in it but the Mesa is just a touch more my flavour, to be honest the A/O has been a bit of a game changer for me, i was happy to keep the M900 as it meant i could ditch the pedalboard as i was only really using B*K's and although i slightly preferred the D800 i was happy to just have an amp to worry about, but the A/O is something else and now i'm back with a board i'm gonna go back to the Mesa. And i need an SVT back im my life i've decided too. Saying that il probably change my mind again next week...

Having a fairly big change up of my gear, got these two in perfect condition, these have mostly been used at the studio although both have done a few shows but they are like new. [s]£750[/s] - SOLD [s]The M900 is 3 months old i think, had it from new, comes with foot switch, original box and everything else plus a hard case that fits great (pictured)[/s] £800 PLUS Shipping The Big Twin is less than a year old, great condition, awesome sounding cab. Think i have the original shipping box and stuff so can send although we would need to work out cost, shouldnt be much. Only trades i would consider are a Barefaced Two 10's, Six 10's and maybe a Four 10, all with the appropriate cash adjustments either way, i'm not sure there is anything else i would consider.
Shan't be using Andertons again! Pre-ordered weeks ago and they still don't have initial stock.
Yeah i was going to wait for Andertons as i heard Thomann had sold old when i finally decided to get one, I was just lucky i caught this one i think. Doesnt seem Bass Direct has them yet either, US and Europe have had theres just not UK it seems. Its worth the wait mate!
I had a feeling Bearfist would be straight in there!
Haha! Yeah was always gonna get this thing.
Jinkies that's nice! Is it 3-band, volume and 5? way selector?
Cheers! Yeah 3 band (Bass @40 Hz, Mid @550 Hz Treble @18 KHz which doubles up as a passive tone control), 5 way selector (n, n+b para, m+b series, b ), and Volume with push pull for active/passive.
I need an emoticon showing my jaw smashing down through two floors below.
Haha! Yeah she's a looker, my perfect bass except the number of strings, cant have this sitter there doing nothing, probably just gonna order a 4 sting version as soon as this goes tbh.

£2500 Well this is a surprise, i know I've said this before but this really is something i never planned on doing, i'm thinking of selling my stunning 2016 Dingwall AB1. I recently picked up a 4 string Dingwall and i really don't think i will be going back to 5's now, was a 4 string player for years and i think i'm gonna be again so i'm moving this on and ordering a new build 4 i think. So the spec.... This is a a 2016 (July) AB1 3X, it has a Glockenklang 3 band Pre, Wenge Neck and Wenge board, and a Maple Burl top which is bleached, dyed then finished in a black burst (think Dingwall call this a faded black burst) The condition is 10/10, there is not a mark on it, no buckle rash nothing, its perfect. I had this bass built and have been the only owner and although I've done a few shows with this its' primarily been a studio bass and my most prized possession and as such has been extremely well looked after. I'l let the pictures say the rest.... The price includes UK shipping if you wanted it shipped and i know the price is big but a new one of these on the current price list works out just a pinch short of £4000 i think so i think its a decent price considering the current 14/18 month wait on new builds. I no longer have the Dingwall gigbag, I don't think much of them and have sold every single one i've had, i do have a fairly new Warwick bag here i will throw in with this. Message me for any more info.
