  1. I've listened to a couple of recordings from that tour and they sound great.
  2. Finished with no bids which is good news for buyers.
  3. I don't think it's been out of there live set since they recorded it?
  4. Pedant time: there's bass pedals all the way through it but I know the bit you mean.
  5. There's a jigsaw audio/video of both shows on YT.
  6. Three Sides Live was a mess and blatant fan exploitation. Three sides of mostly carbon copy album tracks and side four full of bait for diehards. Shameful.
  7. The Cinema Show's a lovely version and it does give a nod to Bill Bruford's time with them. Also at the time they crammed as many tracks as possible onto double vinyl (which rendered the bass very lightweight), surely the other tracks still exist and are worthy of a double CD release in the correct running order?
  8. Agreed, TMB must be seen. My cut off with Steve is Guitar Noir.
  9. A priceless/precious slice of singer mentality.
  10. The two band's you quote paved the way for prog. Modern prog's a facsimile IMO.
  11. Fair one. I've seen Nick* and not LP - Nick's quite a stage presence. *Very nearly too much of him when he was sitting down in that kilt!
  12. Let's make a list of all Kate's genius songs - you might get enough for an old-style EP
  13. There was one song in the last tour where the singer played bass but apart from that I've never even sniffed an extra bod and trust me I'm a spotter! U2 are your band for that.
  14. Has he parted company with Gary O'Toole? And a shout out for Nick Beggs while I'm here. I can't love Lee - that upside down string thing is just wrong.
  15. Thanks Pete, sadly I live in the Portsmouth area.
  16. Saw them last year - SUPERB! Even better the year before when they replicated the Selling England tour.
  17. Are you the BC opinion chief constable? It's a bit of fun. I happen be a big fan but his standards have slipped lately.
  18. Firth of Fifth again. That guitar bit again including the excruciatingly dull piano intro. Cinema Show. There was never a lead guitar part in the instrumental section so stand by for some bolted on noodling. Some new stuff from his latest home studio offering. Nad Sylvian's crappy vocals and cod theatrics. Be afraid.
