To clarify, I consider the line-ups with both Bill and Alan to be the real deal. A line-up without Jon, Chris, Rick and Alan for most of the gig won't do.

On the up side it looks like a 'man's' bass , the headless Kingbass screams weedy sound. I doubt Mark's actually paid for basses or equipment for a very long time (I think even Alembic made an exception to their no freebies rule) so he'd always be on the lookout for a deal.
