    Portsmouth Guildhall last night. Looked like a standard Special body - black scratchplate, three knobs, the bridge looked chunkier than standard and the P/J pickups were EMG's. Fender logo on the headstock.

    Hi prowla. The OP was just a moan really born out of a hankering for a stand alone set of pedals. I currently run a 12-step with a Minitaur. I had the covers off a PK-5 once to give it a paint job and was amazed at the wide open spaces inside.

    Anything with a ridiculously oversized headstock with canoe accessories as tuners and totally clashes with the rest of the bass.

    I think this should be added to all guitar specs - bullet survivability. And truss rod conversions to rifle barrels.

    I've regretted getting rid of my PK-5 - much more user friendly than the 12-Step.
