  1. Couple of instruments mentioned: Fender Rhodes and pedal steel - where would Dark Side be without them?
  2. Couldn't agree more - next stop Intensive Care.
  3. Those headstocks are paddle up the amazon enormous though!
  4. I knew you'd be along soonish Discreet. Good dit. I failed to pull the trigger on a Shergold in 1980 from a shop in the east end for the princely sum of £125 IIRC and regretted it.
  5. Interesting. I thought they were more of a 'unit' before Muzz left. I preferred Time's Up.
  6. Thanks for the lecture dad. Sadly I came down with the last rain shower and know nothing about musicians or the industry. Stuart Spector must be particularly pleased to hear Doug's dusty end widdling.
  7. I'm not suggesting he's a bad bass player, just that he wants to widdle in front of a camera. When is a bass a bass?
  8. Annie's Diva album has some superb bass stuff by him and also sounds great.
  9. After watching another demo of him chording in guitar registers through ten million effects pedals. Less is more Doug.
  10. I laughed out loud when I saw the headstock transfers!
  11. Cheers Cato. I was applying humour to the post which may have been difficult for some to see.
  12. Hang on a minute, Teisco, FB bass market £120.
  13. Nice one. I was pretty sure of the logo but the headstock shape threw me. Cheers.
  14. If he can play and sing at the same time I'd expect Alex and Neil to be making approaches. I'd love a new Rush line-up if only for the purist chagrin factor
  15. What is it and has he actually NOT got an endorsement deal!
  16. I learned to play the bass to Police/Sting stuff. Personally I think he's great and some of the stuff he sings and plays at the same time are murder!
  17. Maybe it's just my aversion to burst, MM pickups, a curvy body with a rectangular headstock and control knobs borrowed from something else. I do love Frankenstein films though.
  18. Joe 90. At the start and end (slightly different arrangements).
