Couple of years ago I briefly owned an Ashdown 'guess which note I'm actually going to track' octave pedal. Dreadful. But I'd have to agree most gear is pretty good these days.

Two tickets for the Brighton show secured by Ms EMG this morning. OOOOSH!

Awesome! Great venue, band, gig and sound - and you can hear the bass right across the mix. Guy's single cut Star Bass with the vari pickups sounded mighty on Run Like Hell. Lots of perfectly tracked octave bass too. Sadly David's joined the Ian Anderson/Geddy Lee vocal club - dropping the key a tone wouldn't have done any harm.

Dug out Universal Juveniles yesterday and played it twice then once again today. Cracking album and their last I believe. Anyone else like 'em?

[/quote]I found most of the last album forgettable. I think they've made the right moves to generate some interest in the UK; BBC show, Albert Hall. They're announcing the 2018 tour tomorrow - I'll be interested to see what venues they've chosen.
