1. Hi, where are you based?
2. P.S. here's one for the road! A shot of the gear I used for saturday's gig, in the centre circle before kick off at London Road Stadium, Peterborough. Don't think I won't miss it!
3.
Oooh! Do we have a winner? Who's the lucky one?
It would indeed seem that way, pending the usual formalities... Claudio, (apothem) as the first man to throw the required notes my way wins a splendid example of a sadowsky NYC!
4. On hold pending payment!
5. Still dodging bullets...
6. Any peterborough united fans, or traveling swindon fans (if such things exist), might catch a glimpse of me in the centre circle prior to kick off at London Road on Saturday. Alternatively, if you're an usher at the wedding I'm playing on saturday night in Hemel Hempstead I'll see you there instead!
7.
I want this one... Always wanted to try sadowsky.. and this one is BLUE! I love blue basses.. Its like, perfect.. I also need a J to match my P...
Cool, I'm out of town at the moment, but about to head back. Drop me a PM and I'll be able to reply by tomorrow, if not by this evening. Cheers!
8.
... but its a 4 string...? If only it was a 5; i rekon itd be snapped up instantly!
Ah yes, but if it was a 5 string I'd be keeping it anyway!
9. Pre weekend bump Internet access still limited, so sorry to keep people waiting for replies!
10. All PMs replied to, sorry if I've kept people waiting, I've just moved house and am yet to get the internet sorted in the new place. Cheers
11. Well I thought that was really funny first time I heard it... (still here but now attracting a european audience!)
12.
Actually, thats his normal, relaxed face! Oh, keyboard players, the butt of so, so many jokes...
For example, what do you call a beautiful lady on a keyboard player's arm? - A tattoo. (... Mildly amusing type bump at the expense of keyboard players everywhere )
13.
Be careful, I think you've got an alien hidden behind the keyboard !!!
Actually, thats his normal, relaxed face! Oh, keyboard players, the butt of so, so many jokes...
14. Thanks guys, all comments much appreciated! Here are a couple of extra pictures that show how the finish comes out live and under lights- it practically glows!
15. Price drop to £1550 just to see what happens. If its still here in a while I think I'll keep it for this seasons gigs and to hell with 5 strings! Its too nice a bass to be hawking round for less than its worth- the sheer indignity of it!
16. You have a pm russ!
17. ...Tea with the biscuits?
18. Another quick bump... and I'm serious about the biscuits. They'll be chocolate too. Probably digestives, but perhaps hobnobs if you're lucky!
19. Bump! Something has come up that I'm after so all offers will be seriously considered. Available for test drive in London with FREE BISCUITS!!!
20. This looks like a cracking bass- I love the worn finish! Have a bump on me
21. Wow, you wait for a nice lakland to come up for sale, and then 3 come along at once!
22. Still available, but have a cash deal on the horizon subsequent to the buyer selling an item. Cheers, John
23. Hi guys, About a month ago I was caught in heavy rain with my gig bag. Shortly after that my tuner, which was in the bag at the time, stopped working. Basically, when I try to use it there is still power from the 9v as the lights come on, but no notes register. So, its currently useful as a paper weight but not much else, and to be honest I've never even found paper weights that useful. Has anyone had a similar experience or does anyone have any recommendations for getting it fixed? I'm based in East London, and know a decent engineer in putney, but its a bit of a trek for a small piece of gear. I'd rather fix it than end up getting another one. Cheers, Johnny
24. Just to echo everyone else's sentiments, sorry to hear about your troubles- hope things work out and you can aim to get them all back one day soon!
25. Opportunist bump for anyone missing out on Chris's Metro 4 or Kiwi's Celinder!
