  1. The Memorial Hall, Cheddon Fitzpaine, Rowford, TAUNTON, TA2 8JY https://www.cheddonfitzpainevillagehall.co.uk/
  2. I haven’t been in a supermarket since a week before lockdown (when I decided to lockdown) I’m almost sixty, overweight and diabetic. I am quietly confident that the SW Bash will be an annual event for many years to come and (as long as I haven’t sold my gear and given up playing bass, which is a distinct possibility) I have no doubt that I will be attending them in the future but until the criteria in my earlier comment have been met it’s a no no for me.
  3. Much as I want to go to this, after all it is the Mother of all Bass Bashes, on reflection I personally wouldn’t feel safe enough to attend. People driving in from all corners to cram into a confined space and then pass their basses from person to person sounds like a recipe for potential infection to me. So until there is a vaccine (unlikely) or treatment/medicines to mitigate the more severe effects of the virus I’ll have to pass.
  4. Yes, that’s where I saw them, excellent stuff.
  5. ...on my arrs trumpet.
  6. Can you? Brilliant, I was about to sell up...
  7. Such a superb oddity of an album.
  8. Still here? Ridiculous... although I can't shift my single cut either!
  9. @stewblack would like ½ a set please Ped.
  10. That's going to make a beautiful fingerboard.
  11. I'm in for two sets please.
  12. I wear my BC lanyard when I’m cooking sometimes. That is all.
  13. Very much so, including my favourite reggae track...
  14. Derek Forbes, I always think of him as the absolute foundation of the excellent early Simple Minds. To me, the pinnacle of the band’s output is Empires and Dance, perhaps the darkest, coldest album ever made, which is why it’s my second favourite album of all time. It’s the perfect counterpoint to my top album of all time Metal Box by PiL altogether more organic and earthier yet still cold lyrically. Anyway, Empires and Dance, cold, mechanical and archly European, superb...
  15. I’m wavering, if you are interested be quick.
  16. My first serious bass was this model only in black, superb basses.
  17. I understand this totally, I think it's the stuff you heard first that sticks. I was so gutted when Gabriel left I wouldn't listen to A Trick Of The Tail and I still haven't listened to it (or any other post-Gabriel Genesis album) since.
  18. Sorry I should have been more specific, the first eight tracks of The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway are my favourite prog tracks of all time.
  19. It's most certainly too late for me when it comes to Rush. Fragile and Relayer are my top Yes albums but The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway is my favourite prog album of all time.
