  1. I’ve got try one of these out, always fancied one.
  2. I agree, I had a Taylor GS Mini Bass that I’m actually beginning to rather regret having moved on!
  3. Ibanez Talman or the Fender Squier Jaguar.
  4. I’m going to stick my neck out here and say my Rob Allen Mouse sounds about as close to a double bass as you can get (imho, obv.) I totally agree with the rest of your points.

  8. Hello!

  10. Has anyone out there found a satisfactory case (hard case or gig bag) for an Ibanez SRC6? I’m not having a lot of lunch finding such.
  11. This is a great resource, cheers!
  12. Thank you Sir.
  13. Sorry dude, there’s a bit of a queue!
  14. The pics were taken under strong lights but it is quite shiny!
  15. I first saw Theatre of Hate at The Rainbow on the 11th April 1981, in fact here’s the poster... ...three quid for five bands! The second time was this evening in Southend, they were excellent. Kirk Brandon’s voice was as strong and as high as it was thirty seven years ago, I was mighty impressed. Stan Stammers’ bass rig here, apologies for the pic, blue light innit. A great night.
  16. I have noticed that the finish on these and the SRC6s varies wildly, this finish is as it was in the shop but I also noticed it was shinier than other ones I’ve seen.
  17. Sorry @boywonder, not looking for trades or swaps on this one, the money is going towards new gear.
  18. Dots are between the lines as on a fretted bass (see new pic below). The pickup config was a big part of why I got this bass initially.
  19. My conversion to short scale is another reason for the sale, this would be a great Xmas present for a newbie to fretless.
  20. Cheers. I just hate instruments just sitting and not getting played, it’s a crime.
