  1. This is an option I am seriously considering.
  2. Just for comparison purposes, obv...
  3. I believe it to be a thumb rest.
  4. They do the SWB-1 in fretless but I would prefer a lined neck and I’m not sure I like any of the SWB-1 finishes. If Chowny did a lined fretless version of the SWB Pro I’d order one in an instant.
  5. As yet I've not found one I got on with.
  6. Christ I’d forgotten he died, what a loss...
  7. God help me I’m just down the road to you and if I can just sell another bass I’ll be back...
  8. Oh sweet baby Jesus and the saints...
  9. Excellent documentary, what a player. Spitting image of Nigel Tufnel as well.
  10. Does anyone own, have experience with, or can recommend a short scale (30” or less) lined fretless bass, electric or acoustic?
  11. I watched it arc through the air and hit the target so unless you are Toyah then I’m afraid it was another yob.
  12. I once gobbed over Toyah mid-gig at The Rainbow on the 21st February 1981. I am considering making it a double in November.
  13. I went from 34 down to 28.5 and the only difference was playing became significantly easier. I had no positional problems whatsoever.
  14. As environmentally friendly as the oar might be, I too am relieved at the use of an engine in this case.
  15. I am a bit of a train spotter so the Marine Traffic app is excellent anyway, I have a couple of questions about a fretless SWB so I’ll PM you.
  16. Hurrah and huzzah, underway with an arrival date!
  17. Keeping my fingers crossed for you Sir, fickle idiot that I am I’ll probably get fed up with mine by the end of the week.
  18. Put a post in the ‘wanted’ section, I got a reply within a day.
  19. No, I am beginning to agree with you actually, which, after all, is one of the points of floating such thoughts on a forum, to talk some sense into myself.
  20. It’s currently doing 0 knots as it is moored in Algeciras...
