  1. Welcome @Smanth
  2. Heh, the former. I have one and it’s totally addictive.
  3. Get an Ibanez SRC6, more fun than a crack addiction.
  4. I don’t dig a lot of guitarists but he was a great player. I disliked Big County deeply but loved The Skids.
  5. I play through a HX Stomp and into a QSC K12.2, no way I’d ever go back to a traditional rig.
  6. I’ll give you a week to withdraw that statement and formally apologise. If this is not forthcoming you will be hearing from my lawyers, Wankel, Clitheroe & Gash, who will be seeking reparations in the form of a non-sweaty pizza with toppings of my choice to be decided on the day. Yours sincerely Sarah Ferguson (Mrs)
  7. This is very true. I am definitely attending a gig tonight despite being in bed with the TV on.
  8. Just sold a bass to Loz. Excellent comms throughout, an absolute gentleman and scholar. Deal with confidence, a fine Basschatter. Cheers Loz.
  9. True, but, does he have to do it on basses he’s building for me?
  10. …and straight afterwards an interesting film 24x36: A Movie About Movie Posters (2016).
  11. QSC K10.2 or QSC K12.2.
  12. Here's a short-list of key features: Rosewood body; maple ‘C’-section neck — 41mm (1.6”) at nut, 54mm (2.13”) at 12th fret; sculpted ergonomic recesses for fore-arm and rib-cage; single active neck pick-up; thru-body stringing; adjustable nut; medium scale length = 31.75"; weight = 3.75kg. The body is 8cm (3.14") deep.
  13. Alright, someone make me an offer!
  14. Welcome @WillieEStroud
  15. I am not sure I understand your question.
  16. Alright, someone make me a reasonable offer...
  17. Yes. It’s the loudest fretless acoustic unplugged sound I’ve heard.
  18. That is friggin’ crazy and I so want one! Good work Sir.
  19. Just PMd you.
  20. I am such a sucker for anything aluminium or brushed steel, especially against natural wood, there is something very 70s about it, which, in my book, is a very good thing indeed. So excited about this. As soon as I got the Jabba spalted bass home my other basses have just languished in the rack. To have matching fretted and fretless basses and the spalted as a backup... well, it's a dream! Having owned a Jabba bass for a few months now I can confirm that not only are they works of art they also play as good as they look. Man I can't wait.
