  1. ☝@A.G.E.N.T.E. If you can stretch to this you’ll be laughing ☝
  2. A long lost H. P. Lovecraft novel?
  3. I have a Line 6 HX Stomp tip, albeit a basic one. Don’t sell it then regret it almost instantly to the point that you are cussin’ yourself driving away from the recipient’s gaff. That is all.
  4. Absolutely. I give them the benefit of the doubt for having made my personal number one album of all time, Metal Box and another favourite, Flowers of Romance. I agree, from Album onwards their output was iffy but they’d get a pass for Death Disco on its own.
  5. That whole album (Bête Noire) is full of great bass lines. I’m mostly into punk/post-punk stuff but it’s a cracking album. I do love a bit of Roxy and some Ferry too.
  6. I used to use a Polytune until I got a Peterson Stroboclip, the best clip on tuner by far imho.
  7. I can't believe this is still here, one of the best jazz basses on the marketplace at the moment, certainly the lightest. This is a proper bargain.
  8. Dare I say you are already a queasy shade Sir.
  9. The programme preceding it was excellent as well Simon & Garfunkel: The Harmony Game which is also up on iPlayer.
  10. Yes we should! I can’t wait to resume rehearsing with mine, it’s perfect.
  11. Loved mine, great basses, GLWTS.
  12. Bonkers! So much bass, so little coin!
  13. I love the precursor bands to Björk, Þeyr, K.U.K.L the Icelandic post-punk scene was mad. I first saw Björk performing with K.U.K.L. in a squat near Vauxhall, astonishing.
  14. This is unsurprising, a lot of Fag Gadget fans are fanatical about him. I think he was excellent but not to the point of fanaticism.
