  1. As amazing as that would be, don't rush them to meet the date. Good work (especially as good as yours) can't be rushed. Like you don't know that!
  2. The generalised answer to this is most people are bastards and, in a cramped gig situation, these bastards push past you, bump into you and glare at you because it's your fault they spilled one of the six pints they were trying to convey tho the front of the room where their bastard mates are busy spoiling everyone's night. I was going to list a few methods I have used for dealing with these type of bastards but I fear the information might be 'too much information'.
  3. Still here, I thought this would be first to go!
  4. SOLD Apologies for stock pic, will take some in a couple of hours. Here's the official bumf from Focusrite. 18 inputs & 20 outputs with 8 natural-sounding combination input mic preamps, roundtrip latency of 2.74ms*. Excellent interface, used once. Comes with a beech 1u rack like this... ...will deliver within reasonable distance (try me, that's quite a way) or meet up half way. Bank transfer preferred, no trades.
  5. Just sold a bass to Dave, great comms, prompt payment, long drive for both of us to meet but all went swimmingly. Sensible, socially distanced, mask wearing transaction, superb. Deal with confidence.
  6. Which I had firmly set in the negative before I pressed play. Then I pressed play. Then I got down. Excellent!
  7. No, all my basses are gone or spoken for, including both Mice. I have a fretted bass already built and a fretless about to be built, both by @Jabba_the_gut so I’ll not be totally bereft
  8. I don’t, getting hit by a bus would be serious. Getting rid of instruments that I haven’t played for months because I’ve realised I’m one of those idiots who thinks buying expensive gear will make up for my lack of talent is just a welcome insight.
  9. Nothing serious Sir, I’ve sold all my gear so nowt to bring!

  11. Excellent. I take it you are heading down south soon then?
  12. I think I've posted this on here before, possibly twice, but anyway it ought to be a compulsory weekly thang. Altogether different but oh my good god, funky as feck...
  13. SOLD I purchased this bass from most excellent Basschater @Osiris in January, for reference here's his original advert... 30.5" short scale Warwick Corvette. 24 frets, passive MEC pickups. The sale also includes the Warwick truss rod tool, not pictured. It has three small dings, all on the rear of the bass (see pics 6 and 7). It comes with it's original Warwick gigbag. The tone of this is what you'd expect from a full scale Warwick, it doesn't have that inherent short scale tubbiness, it sound like its bigger brothers. The controls are volume, blend and individual tone controls for each pickup. For sale only, no trades. Pickup from my gaff or I'm quite happy to deliver to you (dependent on distance obviously) or meet up halfway. Bank transfer preferred. Any questions or requests for more pics please message me.
  14. As a huge Mick Karn fan I can only say this was a dark day.
  15. NOW SOLD HX Stomp, never gigged, only home use for about 3-4 rehearsals. Comes with mains lead and USB (obviously) and two mains extension leads (pic 3). All the leads fit into the bag in pic 4 and the Stomp and the lead bag all fit into the Pedaltrain carry case in pics 5 & 6. Would prefer either pick up from my gaff, half way meet to deliver or (depending on distance) I will deliver to you. Any questions or requests for further pics please message me. I’m packing in bass playing so for sale only, no trades.
