  1. Everything ive read says patch change only. Would be great if it did block on off though as its a cool foot switch. I had thought about having multiple patches with different blocks on, but thats a bit too involved for what I’m looking to do.
  2. Same here, but as stated, what sounds good is the correct order.
  3. Nice one. We have a gig on the 4th July booked, but haven’t heard if its going ahead and really doubt it will. I dont think my drummer would do it, but he is on his way out anyway.
  4. Same, for all my basses. I do have XT’s on my Yamahas at the moment. Ok on the P34 but just prefect on my 425. Not sure i will stick with these strings, ive yet to actually gig them, but its funny how the same string works with one bass and is just ok on another.
  5. Yep. Im going to be having a clear out when I get back to work. I lent it to a customer just before lockdown. Just need to get it back.
  6. When I get back to work there might be ;-).
  7. Right. Totally changed what ive said earlier and going for a very small pedal board. Ive been looking at ways to power the Stomp and my Becos comp. i dont want to buy an expensive PSU for this, but I’m wondering if I’m thinking about it the wrong way. I’m happy to run two wall warts if I have to, but I’m wondering if there would there be any issues if i used the Line6 PSU to power both. Obviously ill need an adapter to bing the 2.5mm down to 2.1, but as far as i can see thats it. Anyone done this before?
  8. I cringe ever times JT says ‘bass man’
  9. Yeah, i was surprised with that. I’m definitely hearing a Guy Prat style in all these now.
  10. Nice one. I’m not a huge fan of the Drives in that, but i love the clean boost tone print. Ive used various PSU’s with mine, inc daisy chaining it off a 1 Spot wall plug with other pedals. It can be a bit fussy with others but ive not had issues with that, my Cioks DC-5 or EBS wall wart.
  11. Could be a bug. Might be worth reporting it.
  12. You don’t have the pan position assigned to a switch do you?
  13. For me it has to be my Fender P. Not only are these MIA’s very rare, I found this on line in on a small dealer’s website for £700 posted, inc nice gig bag. or, the two free Sire gig bags i get sent to me when i asked about buying one here in the UK. Direct from the top man at Sire.
  14. Also had fantastic CS from Hipshot. Begging of the year I brought some black tuners from Bass Direct. The bushes that came with them worked ok, but they were a tiny bit smaller than the ones that i took off. I emailed Hipshot on the Friday afternoon, and after a coupe of emailed back and forth over the weekend they posted a full set of the correct size bushes out to me, for free on Monday.
  15. Latest video is up
  16. Ok. I’m now thinking this one. Has LED’s, and can be used as an amp switcher as well. So if I’m right i can use one switch as FS4 and the others to change the channels on my Fender Rumble. https://www.amazon.co.uk/BOSS-FS-6-Dual-Foot-Switch/dp/B000RW2A0O?th=1 Not what i started out asking about, but a lot cheaper than buying the Pod Go or a Midi switch.
  17. Thanks. That was the first one i looked at, as i know a few of you use it. Its just not what I’m looking for. I’m clumsy footed, so really want something in a line. I know this from using my HFX. I ended up moving the blocks i knew I’d use the most to the front 3 switches, so didn’t really use the back row much, but liked to keep them loaded for when inspiration hit (or didnt). Quite often I’d hit two at a time. For me that 6 switch wouldn't offer much over the existing 3 on the Stomp. I’m not sure what the 8 switch version costs, but i have a feeling it’s approaching Pod Go price, and I’d still be using two boxes. I tihnk the cheapest option for me is to look around for a better two switch pedal, but one that has indicator lights on it. I just need to know if a switch is on or off really.
  18. No, ive gone of the idea now lol. Ill stick with getting the Pod Go.
  19. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not judging anyone. This is real life or death stuff, its just that i think the media and a hand in making it sound a lot more widespread than it is. Of course thats not to say the dangers aren't there, but some of the daily figures just seemed a bit odd sometimes, and hardly ever mentioned the high survival rate. For me, its get on with life but be as careful as i can.
  20. It looks like it has a small LED for each Foot switch. But you’re right, I think I’m wasting my time at the moment. Ive seen a few more like the MeloAudio one, which looks perfect, but that too doesn't do custom CC so no better than the Mongoose.
  21. Well in a way this is why im asking. I’m not yet up to speed with what can and cant be done. I assumed you could change snapshots, but i guess you cant. WIth the LED”s i was just hoping for villa feedback that ive hit it. Quite other i might hit two stitches by mistake, or not tun it off. Be nice jus tot see the status light change. As far as Midi Control changes etc, I’m hoping the upcoming FW 3.0 with Control centre update will take care of this at the Stomp end, but appreciate the Mongoose still wont use these commands.
  22. A lot of ‘if’s there. I stopped listening to the doom and gloom brigade a while ago. The chance of getting it is very low, and the figures show a lot more get over it than die from it. Ill take my chances.
  23. When we were furloughed our van driver went and got a job at Fords building the Ventilators. About 3 weeks ago he said they finished the first 18,000. That week the government placed another order for 32;000. They have always said its coming back. This lockdown was to slow the first spike so they could get things in to place.
  24. Any thoughts on this? USB rather than midi. Must admit ive not looked in to any of this side of the Stomp so maybe this just wont work anyway. https://www.dv247.com/en_GB/GBP/iCON-G-Board-Black-USB-MIDI-Floor-Controller-Black/art-PCM0012459-000?campaign=PSM_UK/kelkoo&ProgramUUID=MrLAqJarZEUAAAFobL.P7Dz7
  25. Thanks for the replies. I’m not really looking for any displays etc, just a LED to say the switch is on or off. Looks like the Mongoose can do that. The Stomp does show what blocks are on or off, but its not easy to see, especially if i have it on my amp behind me. I know how to use snapshots but i think only 3 is a bit limiting. The Keith McMillen looks fantastic, but overkill for me, and a bit expensive. All I’m looking to do is to turn one or two blocks on and off as and when i need to. I can do the patch change by hand on the Stomp itself. I’d never need to do this during a song, and i doubt I’d use more than 3-4 patches for a whole gig. Thanks anyway.
