  1. Yes, stereo all the way for me.
  2. I use a Zoom H4 essential for ambient these days, but i was using a cheap Behringer B-5 mic in to a small mixer before that and it worked really well. Once i had it sorted out i felt much more comfortable with IEM’s. I guess one question is do you want stereo or mono? Personally i find stereo much more natural sounding. Even though the bass is mono it’s nice to hear a bit of spread from the room IME. You could get a small Behringer mixer and a pair of Behringer C-2 mics for around £100.The mics even come with a mic stand holder that holds both.
  3. Yeah, i like the vibe.
  4. I like the song, it’s just that there are a lot of notes.
  5. Buy a second combo and leave it with one of the other drivers in the band?
  6. Haha. I’m going to learn it note for note (or as close as i can).
  7. American Pie. Thankfully the short version 😬
  8. I've seen that video. I found it quite irritating as although it's helpful it's a bit repetitive. When I got my first one I found it quite easy to get going with it after a few mins. Good luck.
  9. Yeah, it was two when i ordered. Very lucky.
  10. I see Amazon are now quoting delivery in months. High five to us lol.
  11. Shame but that did sound a bit too good to be true.
  12. All part of the Basschat service. You cant come on here and not expect to have your money spent 😂. First thing ill do is shake mine lol.
  13. Haha. Ive just ordered the B2-Four from Amazon. Got it on a 5 month plan so no big outlay, and it’s a UK version. It will be here tomorrow.
  14. Wow, thats cheap. Let me know how it goes. Ive had another thought about this though. My main reason in getting the B2-Four originally was a cheap way of getting a computer interface, and a BDDI. If i didnt want the BDDI i wouldn't hessite, but as the G2-four lacks this im now not so sure, as its the one FX i really do need……or maybe i dont.
  15. You know, i might go for the G2 Four instead. Much cheaper, doesnt have the extra bulk of the DI section (which i will never use). I dont need amp sims as such, but they all sound pretty close on the whole so any one will pretty much do the job ( i feel the same about the Bass versions). It does have a Bassman amp anyway so that would be fine. Food for thought……
  16. This is putting me off ordering from Europe again. Ive got a few things that have those awful 2 pin PSU’s, and while im sure they work just as well, the extra bulk is just not welcome. Ive replaced the last two items i got from Thomanns with 3 pin version's off Amazon, but cant be bothered doing that again. Shame though as i cant really find another in stock in the UK for the price i want to pay. My B2-Four has gone back as i believe it’s not 100% (not faulty as such, but with something moving around inside id worry something could go wrong).
  17. Haha. No, not buying, returning. Got a B2 Four from them last week but there is something rattling inside.
  18. Yes, we are the same. Me and Dawn have to travel with my gear, the PA and all the lights, so we are limited to what we can take. Also the stages are quite small and it’s difficult sometimes lighting is from the front, at least at head height.
  19. Cheers. i have had a reply or two so it’s all good. I did message them on FB and they got back to my email. Seems they have just been a bit busy.
  20. I’m trying to arrange a return to them and had good comms on Friday evening, then silence. I emailed again today but nothing back yet.
  21. We recently got a couple of these, and were quite surprised at how bright they are. We didn’t use them at the gig on Sat but at the previous one we found they made quite a difference to how we looked from further away. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B09XDLM4N9?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
  22. So true, but we find it very hard to light the band from the front at a lot of our gigs. Small stages are a pain. We do use a few LED spots/ Disco type lights on the floor pointing towards us a lot of the time, but it’s not ideal.
  23. That’s the unedited OP3, inc it’s audio.
  24. I have a Canon R7 so have the ability to shoot C-log etc if i want, the point is i couldn’t give that set up to someone in the audience to use. It’s hard enough ensuring they don’t do bloody portrait video as it is. The OP3 is just perfect for gigs, plus it’s stabilised and no one will really nice e it being used. The gig was all recorded in Logic on an iPad as a 14 track project, so the sound is covered (just need to re mix it all). This was also the first time out with my Zoom H4e recorder, set about a foot from the snare drum. It came out very clean and had a good crisp top end without any distortion (that i can hear).
  25. Yeah, it’s not bad and seems to handle the high dynamic range ok ill try and get some real low light footage this week. I shot this when we were setting up. It’s a bit darker in places. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/em7lhbqkq6b2mt8d9qn55/DJI_20240427180707_0026_D.MP4?rlkey=5lf35wo5y6ice375axrnsjgsc&dl=0
