  1. Selling my 6 week old Sansamp Paradriver v2. Only used once outside the house at a rehearsal, so in perfect condition. Includes box and all the paperwork/sticker etc. I got this new from Gear4music on 9th April this year. My second attempt to like this box, and as much as i do, its just not a BDDI that I’m used to. All the spec here. http://www.tech21nyc.com/products/sansamp/paradriver-di/ Photos will get posted in the next day or so. Collection from central london for £150, add £5 postage for mainland England. Will not post further afield I’m afraid. Cheers. Dave.
  2. 50% of asking price for a bass? Id ask if they wanted the neck or the body 🙂
  3. Reminds me of the Karl Pilkington sitcom where he gave a sofa away. Guy came round and didnt have transport so Karl had to help him carry it to another address, on the day he was going to a funeral. When they got to the other address it turned out the sofa guy was selling it to this other bloke. The second bloke changed his mind and didnt want it so Karl had to try and get it back too his house. The first bloke wanted £20 to help carry it back lol.
  4. Seller: For sale, practically brand new, never been played outside my bedroom road worn P bass. No marks or scratches........😵
  5. Yes, and price is not an indication of how good a pup will found. I had a Fralin (two over the years) but never kept them longer than a few months. Each time i went back to a much cheaper pup like the 62RI. I am quite partial to the DiMarzio DP122, which i have in my Squier CV P, but its a bit too aggressive to use all the time.
  6. I brought a BQ500 and didn't like it much. Although i never ran it at gig or rehearsal volumes i felt to sounded a bit flat and lifeless when played at home through a TCE RH212 cab. When i had it i also had (still have) a Spectradrive, which is the front end of the BH amp, and using the hedphone out i could hear quite a difference, even with everything flat. i sent it back as it had issues other than me not liking it, and got a BH800. Couldnt be happier. The Eq is very different, and makes a huge difference if you do need to use it.
  7. I miss the battery operation the B3 has.
  8. Its even worse on photography forums. That lot are a nightmare and i dont sell much gear on those forums any more as i just dont have the time to take photos under ever conceivable situation, at every F stop etc, only for them to analyse the photos at 400% with CSI level software and say they can see a slight mark on a lens that could well be a decade old.
  9. Isn't Basschat the place we come to with the intention of wasting time 😎
  10. Thanks DB. That’s pretty much the conclusion i came to. No increase in signal level no matter what i put before the passive input (assuming all pedals are turned off).
  11. I asked the exact same question a few years ago, never got a really 100% soldi answer so i didnt bother dwelling on it. In fact we could question if the change happens if using a wireless system as well I guess..
  12. The B3n doesn't have that problem either, at least not unless its faulty. Mine is perfect.
  13. I’m using a EMG Geezer Butler in my Fender P at the moment. Not the best ive had, but not the most experience and its based on a vintage P bass tone that Bobby Vega has (dont let the Geezer endorsement put you off). My vote would go to the Fender 62RI though. Cheaper as well.
  14. I wouldn’t put up with that screen. I admit to being a bit OCD or picky when it comes to faults, and that’s an obvious one.
  15. Cant you reset the B3n? If you have other patches programmed you can save them to your computer, reset the B3n and then load them back.
  16. I brought this new from Bass Direct earlier this year. I used it at two rehearsals on my pedal board and then packed it away. Condition is as new and comes with box and all the paperwork etc. It does live up to the hype, but due to the size its an awkward box to fit in with my other pedals on my small board, so i gave up. https://lehle.com/EN/RMI-Basswitch-Sonic-Spark/VIDEO#go Ill upload some photos of the actual pedal later. Not looking for any trades, although I’d be interested in a Tech 21 Bass Flyrig or VTBass deluxe, with cash your way. Looking for £130 and that includes delivery to mainland UK. £125 for a meet up in central london. Sorry, I will not post outside the UK so please don’t ask.
  17. We’ve just started to play Vertigo and i love how the bass is mid scooped, but so powerful. Ive found i can get that with my Paradriver, but ive not tried it with a proper OD yet. Having a mid sweep allows me to go from scooped to ‘punk’ P bass with just a smal turn of the freq and level knobs, which i really like. My Q/strip does it better but of course no driver on it, so i dont use it anymore. Hmmm, might look at the Flyrig again as that seems to offer most of what i need, even though its mains powered.
  18. When i got my B3n it was the first time I’d played through a B7K (or sim) and i feel in love with the patch that has the BDDI and B7k. In fact hearing this was what started me out on OD/heavy drive. Never used OD on bass until this point. At one point I got a B7K Ultra but sent it straight back after just an hour as i just didn’t feel i neede3d to spend so much money and still not get the tone i already had.
  19. Love the new hair style, really suits you. How did you find the B7K sim compares to the amps version?
  20. Looking good Bas 😂😂😂
