I have a maple/malpe Lakland JO Jazz neck that i put on my Fender basses when i feel the need for a change. Best Jazz neck ive ever played. ive not used it for a while though as my Fender Sandblasted P bass has one of the slimmest P necks ive every played, so it feels quite comfortable even for someone that wont play a bigger P neck.

That’s quite high if it is around 80hz. I do have a Thumpinator and a Q/strip, which has a HPF in it, but i want to try and only use one battery powered pedal.

Cheers Lozz. Ill give it a try at some point. It does seem like it would be set much higher than a HPF but i cant find the actual freq.

Thanks, that’s a pretty much my understanding of it, but it would be nice to know the Freq its set at. This is the second time ive owned one, or will be later this week. the first was many years ago so that didnt have this filter.

I’m getting this coming up in Safari on IOS. Takes up almost the whole screen and seems to stay put when i scroll down, like its on a layer behind the posts.

I found my V7 didn't fit most of my gig bags when i got mine, so i asked Sire to send me two for free (and they did). They really are nice bags though.

To be honest i was only begin lazy looking for a RS112. I just cant face carrying my RS212 up and down the stairs for each rehearsal. Saved myself £210 so im good. It will help me build up muscles lol. Looking at the weight of the Rs115 it seems heavier than the RS212. Agreed about the Basschat Loaner scheme lol

Well considering the huge saving you made on the cab, why not. if you ever sell it you will probably make your money back at least. I just went to get a RS112 and they are all gone. Bugger!!!.

Yeah, i got the feet before the cab arrived so i was ready for it. The only issue i woudl have with those longer feet are they might be easier to knock off the cab. ive managed to knock screwed in feet of cabs before when getting them in and out of the car. for me the less things that stick out the better. I do have a Gramma pad that i can use if the floor is really uneven.

I feel it does need feet. As you say, for uneven floors it adds a bit of stability, and also keeps the bottom from getting scratched and dirty. I went for those feet as they are low profile and have a nice amount of grip.

I want to get a portable wireless system, so that i can still go wireless when i dont use my pedal board. Nothing other than the amp going to the wall for power. Also like the idea of it being very small and will fit in my pocket if needed. I expect to just use it at home or rehearsals, as I’d use my pedal board (and os my Line 6) for gigs, but who knows, maybe i can finally drop the pedal board completely. Ive narrowed it down to the Boss WL-20 or 20L. I understand most of how they work but one thing i cant get my head around. I can see how you pair them, but do you have to do this every time you turn them on? I tend to like to turn things off when I’m not using them, toilet break etc, but I’d hate to think every time i start up again i have to pair them. Not the end of the world as they seem to have a good battery life, but thought I’d ask first. Thanks for any input.

ive got a G30 at the start of my board. No noise issues at all, and i use it on headphones at home.

I saw this video on my YT suggestions and loved the look of it. Ive had a few basses made by Cort, but never a Cort bass. Alas i have to agree about the tone and those pups. These pups were in my Lakland and even after a pre amp upgrade I found the bass to sound very bland and generic. Not un usable by any means, but just not something i found appealing when compared to a P or Jazz bass. Wont be bothering with the Cort now, which is a shame.

Same here, although i do miss the lightness of those other cabs. Worth it for the tone though.
