Manuals are on their website if any wants to get them. As far as i can see no mention of balanced out, nor connection to PA. Just to amp/rigs. https://www.boss.info/global/products/gx-100/support/
-
Why would you need balanced if going to an amp?

This is true to a point. I always feel safe and the transactions go smoothly on here. If someone gets in touch with a sensible message ill go and look them up. I like to see a post history so i know who im dealing with. Not so worried about meet ups, but even then i like to know someone is a genuine person. When i say ‘to a point’, i notice a hell of a lot of ‘members’ only join for the classifieds, and while BC does offer a level of protection, sometimes its no different from Gumtree or FB when it comes to pushy buyers.

Why’s that, if you don’t mind me asking.

For clarification, i only read the opeing post, and this is my response to it, I dont know what the background is as to why you cant make the gigs, but it can be very frustrating for others when one member of a band isn’t availed for gigs. Ive turned so many gigs down because my guitarist kept going away or just wasnt available , and it starts to feel like its not worth it. I know its generally accepted here on BC thats its the others guys fault, but id try and understand that if everyone puts the time and effort in to get goods, and get gigs, its not ideal when one person stops them from happening, and quite understandable that the band will go on regardless. If your time/commitment doesn't allow gigs as frequent as the band want, do the right thing and move on.

I get sick of these messages and can get quite rude. My understanding is not that the person is stupid, just that they think they can dictate how and how much I sell my gear for. Treat me like that and you get it back. ’Local collection only’ means i wont post to Italy or Greece, but if you ask, ill string you along and waste your time, just like you are doing mine. Had one guy offer me £450 to post my Yamaha P34 to Greece, when it was advertised at £850 collection in london on here. I accepted his offer, then went silent. Then had about 4-5 messages from him asking about what it was, condition, can i send pics etc. All this was in the ad, with loads of pics. I never did get back to him. Yes, i could have just ignored it, but he could have not bothered either. It was obvious he was a time waster (offered half the price, then ask what it was) so why shouldn’t i be 😂

As long as one person says its happening on TB, then thats enough to start a thread on here about it 😎

Lack of market research as usual. 😎

I was going to post the same. New product announced. Someone posts a link. First reactions are good, ‘want’ etc. Then a few hours later it’s declared a failure as it’s missing something that another pedal has, irrelevant if the person posting needs it or not (and probably will never use it). ‘doesn’t have direct connection to Hubble telescope, what were they thinking ?’ 😁 Big discussion about how it will fail, over priced and out of date. Then someone mentions something in the just released manual, and the mood changes to positive for a while. Then it comes out. People start to buy it, declare its amazing and it will replace such and such…... ……..Item appears in for sale section 😂

Yes, that's how i feel about them. Good for when you need them, but some people like to harvest them and probably never use 90% of them. Considering what they are and what they offer, surely 3-4 would be more than enough, especially if you use EQ.
-
I’d say those are the ones that are over indulging and not a real issue for most.
-
Not planning on getting one, but if i did the big killer feature is the ability to use an iPad to control the pedal. This would make life so much easier than how Helix works.
-
Same reason that so many play basslines wrong, or not as per the original lines.
-
Well as with on here, the seller can chose to go with collection only or postage. I cant see a scammer ever choosing collection only unless that too is a scam. Ive never brought anything off FB market place, but have sold quite a few things. Always collection only.
-
Because it doesn’t work like that. You buy on his terms or the scam doesn’t work. He is hardly going to accept pay on collection, or any other real contact.
-
We just get on with it and don’t procrastinate as much (and i can say that after going over to the ‘dark’ side) 😂

I use this, but its not as fast moving as guitar and bass forums. https://www.keyboardforums.com

I don't go in to that thread, but this only came up on my YT time line today. I saw them in Florida a few years ago and they were very impressive. Obviously they use gimmicks and other musicians, but the cover versions they do are very interesting. You really need to be there to appreciate full BMG sound.
-
Just come across their version of this song. Way to use a set of plastic pipes. Preceded by a bit of Ozzy.
-
Yes, i meant the link posted in this thread has the same bass player as the video in the original MM thread.
-
Just looked at that video and it seems the bass player looks a lot like Mr Mason himself.
-
IIR Mick Mason was also in a band like this.

The IEM (in ear monitors) Bible thread

My GF/ singer has that. Seems ok, although the first set failed within a few months. Second set seems fine so far. Obviously very basic but it works for her. There are a few threads on here discussing them.
