  1. Thanks. Yeah, these were mostly from FB market place. Just people chancing it. Had one today asking if it was still available. Said yes, then asked ‘is it a pair?’ 😮. Same ad thats on here more or less, inc photos.
  2. Cheers. I guess with not much live work its going to take a while. Had a few silly offers for ‘a quick sale’, inc sending to Spain at below asking price inc delivery 😔
  3. Had a few silly offers, but still here. Open to offers but still cant ship I’m afraid.
  4. I think it is neutral enough to not really need any extra EQ, but the lack of EQ stopped me using any of the other drive tones prints.
  5. Thats to only tone print I could get to work for me when i had mine, and it happened to be ideal in its own right. I just wish there was the ability to adjust EQ for the drive section independently.
  6. I’m really baffled why that chap needed to ask in the first place. It’s not like it’s a hidden mode.
  7. Obviously the Stomp can do pedal board mode as well, all be it with 3 (or 5) foots switches. What am i missing here?
  8. Sold Nick some cables. Couldn’t have gone smoother, and had a nice chat about things as well., Cheers mate, hope they do the job.
  9. How does the quality compare between the SA and Zoom?
  10. No extras to pay from Thomann’s, at least not at the moment. You wont find it much cheaper over here, although most place seem a few £ cheaper than Thomann’s. I almost got one of these last month. I just couldn’t press ‘buy’ for some reason. Probably the cost. Have you considered the Boss EQ-200? £100 cheaper and still stereo.
  11. . For me rather than everyone. I never use a strap when playing at home, so having to have one hanging off the bass is not something i want. I also dont have the luxury of leaving my gear set up, so the faster i can get set up and playing the better. I’m not lazy as such, but when i get another bass out all i need do is unplug the transmitter (as you would a cable). None of the hassle of changing straps as well. I also sometimes play in the living room, so taking a bass and the bug system in is much more convenient than taking a pedalboard from one room to the next and having wires trailing across the room etc (and still with the strap hanging off). Not 1st world problems, but a nice easy way of doing things. I’m not sure how robust this sort of thing is compared to the transmitter pack systems, but ive not had issues with the Boss so far. Even walking around the room at sound check. Happy to pop over any time, more or less. Just let me know when’s good for you.
  12. Yes, the latency is very low on the Boss. 2.3ms, and that’s across the board, unlike the SH which i think you have to reduce the range to get lower? For live use i agree about the convince, its all there in front of you, and no worries about battery level etc, but I’m thinking more at home with multiple basses, or you want to take it to another room etc. No need to unplug the pedalboard and move it if you are only using it for the wireless, and no need to change straps each time you change basses, unless you’re standing up of course. The Boss also has (IIR) 14 channels to lock on to. The only downside ive found is the lack of a proper on/off switch like the Xvive has. Thats the reason i used my Xvive at home, as i could leave the receiver plugged in to my Stomp. Just one less thin got hunt around for when I want to play.
  13. I’m not sure i could tell the difference between the two, but i must admit the SH’s high figure made me wonder if it would be more a problem if i was using more digital devices in the chain. I never got to try my SH outside of the house, or with my Helix. I only had it for a couple of days. I found it problematic with how it was powered and too much hassle for what i was hoping for.
  14. What i like best about these sort of systems is the convenience. Not the wireless part, thats common to all, but that fact that you can just pick them up and plug them in. If you have your transmitter on a strap and the receiver on a pedalboard etc it’s bit more hassle to just pick an instrument up and get playing. The bug system is truly plug and play.
  15. I LOVE blue and black basses, and agree, black hardware makes it even better (IMO of course). This is my modded Fender. That new Fender Dark Night colour really caught me eye when i first saw it......then I saw the price..
  16. Cant say I’m a huge fan of those. Sound and feel is great, very close to XL’s, but i didn’t find they lasted much longer than the XL’s I normally use. I also found the A string sounded a bit hollow on my P34. I had two sets then gave up no them. Maybe it’s just me.
  17. Sometimes it is what it is. Mine looked dried out (although i dont think it was), so the fluid just rejuvenated the lighter parts and made it all look uniform. At least, that’s what i think. It looked nicer whatever happened. Have you spoken to Sadowsky about it (sorry, ive not read the last few pages yet).
  18. I got some of this last year. I always thought my BBP34 fretboard looked a bit anaemic, but a couple of applications of this darkened it up nicely. Made a really nice visual difference to the bass.
  19. Nice one. Yes, still here (was offered £10 for both, inc postage lol)
  20. I got these two cables a couple of months ago to use with my Synth. Ive used them twice but now going a different route. As good as new, minus the packaging. Price inc posting to UK mainland. Not willing to split unless collected from me, in which case £8 each. Specs here. https://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Roland-Straight-Instrument-Cable-20ft-6m/1HX7?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=order-dispatch&utm_content=ord-line&utm_source=txn-email
  21. Nah, i found it amusing, and on point. It seems strange only having the software version now, and i have no plans to go back to playing bass for a while, but these things are designed for all instruments so i feel I’m still in the club (even though Native isnt listed in the thread title). If nothing else its an amazing EQ box. Getting another Stomp is not out of the question in the future.
  22. Haha, well i do have Native so I’m not totally out of the picture. Thats why I’m still keeping an eye on things. In fact since getting my synth ive started using my PC for music more than i used to, and so Native is now going to be used more than when i just played bass (although mostly for guitar at the moment).
  23. Yes, and PC’s. I know most things get updated over time etc, L6 gear is no different, but my point is its pretty much a fixed system, its not like there are lots of different configurations etc, they must have tried it out on at least each model but missed it. I have no issues with bug fixes etc, but i cant see how it wasnt flagged earlier, and with the same happening to the 2.5 release (two fixes in 48 hours IIR). it just seems disappointing. Not that it effects me at all of course.
  24. I believe many more people die of flu each year, and that is transmitted in the same way. Why do we feel its safe to rehearse or gig during the flu months?
  25. True, but these are devices used in a professional environment , i just cant see how this gets missed during beta testing, and twice in a row? Just sloppy IME, although commendable that they fixed it quickly.
