  1. I’d get the guitar version. Guitars seem more fussy about effects. I’ve used my B1-Four with both and it worked ok, but I wasn’t too happy with the amps and drives for guitar. With bass most things will work, unless you are looking for specific sounds.
  2. Too right. Not sure why its even being discussed. Ive never been convinced I’m wrong for not liking anything. I get the feeling you are still on the fence about that head though 😁
  3. Thanks. At least it got the Fav’s and user defaults. I wonder if the Pod Go will take over at the lower end. Although I’m never keen on presets, it looks like the big boys got a lot of new ones. Some seem like they might be interesting. Ive only got Native left now, but that seems to have got almost everything new.
  4. What updates did the HFX get? Seems like the Stomp got quite a few new features (not bass specific).
  5. It’s the way of the forums. It seems to mostly bother those that don’t have it, or ever intend to have it, rather than those that have it and just get on and use it.
  6. Another video for Stomp owners. Stomp finally has a control centre, and it looks like a fantastic addition. Opens up what those 3 (or 5) foot switches can do. And if anyone needs a really good 2 switch footswitch, there’s one for sale here 😉
  7. I had one (and 2 faulty ones) at the beginning of the year. I wasn't sure what to expect as Ive never played a 800RB that it’s supposed to be close to. I was very pleased with the tone, but at the end of the day i felt it was too expensive to keep, when i had other heads that i wasnt using, inc a MB800 that was doing a great job already, so sent it back. It definitely had heft to it that even the band noticed.
  8. Yeah, although i prefer a two rum channel pedal 😂 Mind you, at the price the SB sells for, two is still cheap.
  9. The problem i used to have was I liked some of the pedals on all the time, but also like them doing something a bit more. Buying two was never really practical. My all time fav was my Cog Knightfall as it had two gin channels, but sharing the same EQ. So it was a nice always on, and then a bit more of the same when needed.
  10. I got this in April as an extension to my Helix Stomp. I tried it out once at home and put it in a drawer, ready for when i start playing again. I then switched to Keybords and have sold the Stomp. I’m sure i could find a use for it, but cant see what at the moment. I threw the box away, so dont have that, but can post and it will be well protected. Its built like it would withstand most things anyway. Price includes posting to UK mainland. Here’s the spec. Ill upload photos tomorrow . https://www.boss.info/uk/products/fs-6/
  11. I got one (the full sized one) last year, based on a thread on here. Was very pleased with it. As others have said, it seems to just add that something to make things more interesting. Although I’m not playing bass at the moment, it’s one of the pedals I’m keeping. It can quite easily do what i used to use my BDDI/VTBass for, as in always on. Obviously it lacks sophisticated EQ, but I’m really pleased at how it boosts and livens up the signal, without adding to much extra colour. To me it was more plug and play than my preamps.
  12. Strange isnt it, considering how fast it’s supposed to be able to spread.
  13. Well i live with her, and as i said she has 2-3 tests a month. Ive had two tests in the past 2 months as well. She also has to check in at the places she visits (interior fit outs) and has not been alerted once by the track and trace app.
  14. True, but if they don’t have the virus its not a problem. Ive never caught a cold or flu by rehearsing as far as i know, and thats also transmitted in the same way I believe. My point though, was how selfish some people can be. You walk well away from people to keep safe, then get some idiot spluttering all round you because they want to stay fit. Sod the rest of ya. No matter how hard we try and stay safe, and by that i mean making what you feel are the right actions, there are others that just don't give a toss about others.
  15. I know the chance of getting it outside is lower, but it amazes me the amount of pavement joggers that splutter past pedestrians at very close distances though central london. Weaving in and out of them. This is very worrying as you can even see fluid coming out of their mouths sometimes. This to me shows a lack of caring about others and seems very selfish.
  16. I’m with you. I may live (or not) to regret it, but i find the % of people dying to be very, very low in relation to those getting it. Obviously thats no conciliation to those that have died/lost someone etc, and i know its a killer, but I’m not one to think ill get it so easy. I am careful. Within the band we all feel the same. None of us go out to social gatherings like pubs or in groups. We use common sense and i feel safe around these people.
  17. Yeah, i think thats the best thing to do. Having been going to the gym solidly for almost 3 month’s, and rehearsing for while, all i can say is I’m still safe, and I believe its because those around me are also sensible. I will add i haven't, and wouldn’t go to a pub or club, as these seem to be the hotspots. Ive not read anything about the Gyms or studios being so,
  18. If you say so, Like i said, the rooms are very large. Easily 10ft between everyone. We have been fine and will continue to be. Also me and my singer live together anyways so if she gets it, I’m bound to. She has been having about 2-3 tests a month due to her job.
  19. Again, Gyms are very safe places and no one works out in confined spaces. Everything is very well spaced out. I was going everyday when mine was opened, and will do again next week. Never saw more than 10 people at a time, and everyone, 100%, was cleaning the equipment before and after use. I kept my eye on them. There have been no reports of any members having COVID as far as i know. We all check in when we visit and ive not had any notifications about a danger. Ive never seen anyone in a supermarket cleaning items on the shelves down, and yet people pick things up and put them down again. I dont see any checking in, and i see people not wearing masks.
  20. Fair enough. I think its a right mess as well. We (the band) take our own gear other than PA. Our singer wears surgical gloves all night, so she is safe using the PA, and we make sure we are keeping our distance from each other. Its a large room so thats not hard. Its a gamble just stepping out of the house these days, but they’re is so many conflicting new reports that i just use common sense.
  21. How would you know if it is or isnt? We now how it’s transmitted, common sense will go a long way.
  22. Same with our studio. Lets not foget its not a total lock down like the first. Parole are still going to work/school etc. The tiers seem to be aimed at keeping away from each other unless there is a need. We had this discussion a few weeks ago on here. My band has been rehearsing on a fortnightly basis and really enjoying it. I live for playing in bands, and it seems like the others do as well, so we enjoy playing in a band environment without a need to have a financial reason to do it. Would be nice if we did though. Ironically we canceled tonight’s one as earlier today the drummer was pinged by the NHS app and told to isolate for 14 days. And there was me going to kick him out after it lol.
  23. Damn, ive just seen a video explaining the new User Default and Favourite settings on the Stomp. What a great time saver. Wish L6 had come up with those earlier.
  24. I thought the tuner was a great idea when i got my BH800, but i kept seeing it flash out of the corner of my eye and thinking the amp was clipping. It got really annoying after a while.
  25. Not really, we just do normal rehearsals regularly and i use that time to get used to a new device. I try and prep as much as i can at home, but with headphones it’s difficult setting patches, so im always keen to rehearse. I do learn the songs though so i have plenty of time to fiddle with knobs, while the knobs work out what they should be playing lol. We would never have a technical rehearsal, as I’m really the only one that cares. Until very recently i was the only one that took my own rig/gear.
