I had 3 of these heads at the beginning of the year. I sent them all back as i felt they had defects i couldn't accept on a head costing this much, but all had those low feet on them. Had I kept one i had planned on putting slightly taller rubber feet on it. I didnt feel the GK ones gripped too well.

This thread is in the Bass guitar section 😏

Must admit i go through phases of not wanting to play at home. Same reason as the OP, i know my bands set well enough (more than they do), so i dont bother playing those at home. I do enjoy learning songs for myself though, but have to be in the right frame of mind. During lockdown ive hardly touch my basses. Took about a month before i picked one up, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Then out of the blue i thought I’d by a synth. Ended up getting two in June and not touched, or want to touch a bass for a long time to come, but i know i will at some point and i know ill enjoy it. Funny how GAS hits you.

I love this band. Wouldn’t say some of their versions are better than the originals, but i love their take on some of them. Nice easy listening with a good groove. The bass player’s head is a mystery. I can’t believe it hasn’t fallen off yet 😂

Same. Sometimes a kick start is all thats needed, and a new bass can give you that.

Yeah, but I’d say it as probably one of the most used on mobile devices, even if it isnt the best. -

Cheers. Like i said, not a big deal, just thought I should point it out. Strange how it only seems to effect one browser. In a years time when i update my sig ill check to see if its fixed 😂 -

Can’t imagine they would specifically take out options just in one browser. I could understand if the feature just wasn’t there in any browser. Not the end of the world though. -
Yep, its a lovely, but heavy bass. Probably going to outlast my P34. The 425 is definitely a hotter sounding bass. Lots of growl and kick. The P34 is smoother and more ‘mature’ sounding.

Helix Floor/LT/HX/Stomp/PodGo owners' Club - Tips, Ideas & Patches
dave_bass5 replied to Al Krow's topic in Effects
This was exactly how i used, and looked on my HFX. IIR i only had 3 ‘boards’, and two of those were identical, with one having just different foot switches assigned to the effects. I like to keep the most used on the front row. -

Fair enough, i found it funny. I tend not to click on links i dont have any interest in or would find offensive. I assume this thread will be deleted by the mods?

I came across this recently. Couldn’t agree more with it.

Just tried to update my Signature in Safari on my ipad and I’m missing most of the formatting options (font size, colour, etc). They are there for posting in the Forum, but not for creating or editing a signature. No issues with Chrome on the same device. Not 1st world issues, just thought I’d point it out.

You might find they sounds ok in a mix though. -

You can turn the output level up for each patch using the output block at the end of the chain. -
Ive got one of the small cheap 2 switch boxes, and although it works well i was put off by the fact that it doesnt have LED’s or any visual indication that i have hit the switch. Obviously the screen on the Stomp sill show this, but is hard to read sometimes, especially when standing up at a gig. I ended up getting one of these. Its not perfect, nor dirt cheap, but the LED gives piece of mind that i did something. Its also a bit more stable if just sitting lose on the floor and not on a board. The way i plan on using it is to just use one as a 4th Stomp footswitch, and the other changing channels on my amp. The HFX can already do this of course. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000RW2A0O/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Nice one. Ive got one of his looms in my Squier CV jazz. Very neat and tidy work

The way I read it, and the other thread, is he has already taken them out.
-
Was going to say the same. No way you should be out of pocket if they don’t do the job you expected them to do.

How did it sound? I always thought as all the earths are connected together it shouldn’t matter where they go, as long as its all to earth. Never seen it doesn’t like that though.

Price drop to £100. I got this off here last year IIR. Used it once and decided i prefer the BDDIv2 tone (plus i was using a Stomp anyway). Works well, but slot one footswitch sometimes needs two presses. Might be user error but its not as fast sometimes as the other two foot switches. This is how it came to me. Other than that, works perfectly. Might have the box, manual etc, but if not it will be packed well. These things are built like tanks anyway. Price includes UK 1st class post.
