  1. Yeah, especially stereo. My wife (our singer) liked the Nux and it’s her birthday in a couple of weeks. We agreed i would get another set for her to try, but if its the same issue it will go back and she can borrow my Lekato’s when we gig. I only want these for the bands im playing bass with and she isnt in those. I even plugged the Nux in to my audio interface and played music through them. Awfully distorted. As with my Lekato WS-90 i can see these arent shielded well, but as long as we are carful it should be fine.
  2. Well, the Nux arrived and 5mins later it was packed up and ready to go back. The well reported buzz was more than a minor issue. I guess i was expecting to hear something in the background but it was quite pronounced. I know Nux state that these arent really for solo playing, which i suppose is there way of saying the sound isnt perfect, but compared to the Lekato its like night and day. They were used (from Amazon) so maybe faulty, but Im sticking with the Lekatos for now. After another go im used to the latency and it’s not a big deal. Wish there were alternatives in this form factor/price/freq band.
  3. Was this at Pirate studios 😎
  4. Yeah, that fine with me but would need to be after 6 when i get home from work.
  5. A '👋" text and then block them all 🙂
  6. Sorry no. I went over to using a controller last year, hence me not needing the Roland anymore, but have since gone back to my MODX7+, which has more keys. I have no need of any more keyboards.
  7. Thanks. As I play with a pick I find the latency more noticeable because of the click. It really isn't an issue, and when playing along to music it's not noticeable at all, but felt I wanted to try something in the next price bracket up, and also id prefer 5.8ghz. Doesn't seem to be much around in that band at sub £100. Im only going to use them for rehearsals and never live, but I would take them as a bak up.
  8. Sorry no. If it was just the keyboard I would, but the expansions cost me £450 on top and I feel th asking price is still very good value.
  9. I got a set of Lekato MS-02’s yesterday. They seem to sound ok but latency is just noticeable. Manual says 10.5ms in stereo. Im using wireless system for bass as well so i guess its going to be effected. Its not unusable, and barley noticable, but its there. I tried with my usual system and that was better. It’s just too much to take out just for rehearsals. So, ive ordered a set of the Nux B-7PSM’s off amazon, which is stating 5ms. Just wondered if they are the same as Lekato and only listing the mono latency, so it doubles when run in stereo. Any ideas?
  10. Yes. Ive had a few very low ball offers but sticking to a realistic price.
  11. Best place to put it IMO is in a cupboard somewhere and get on with life 😂
  12. Here comes the pedal board section of the thread 🤣
  13. I used mine when i was in a band that did a lot of Motown/60’s stuff. It didn’t change the tone as much as it made the bass a bit more vintage like. I should add I’ve also used the BDDI and VTBass DI to do the same thing. There are many options in all price brackets. Even the joyo stuff has cheap options.
  14. I was going to (and BDDI), but i think those things change the sound more rather than just adding warmth. I guess it depends on why the OP is looking for. A warm sound, or a warmer version of his sound. Sansamp stuff certaily does the first, and ive used one for about 20+ years, but its not the same to my ears as warming up whats already there.
  15. And another vote for the TCE Spark Booster. I find its very transparent so doesnt change the tone too much, just adds a bit more depth.
  16. Ive been using the new-ish Xvive A58's recently and love them. Got fed up with the size of my Lekato's, and they dont seem to be screen very well (at all even). The A58 also have a user replaceable battery in them, so should last quite a long time.
  17. Delrin is also my preferred material.
  18. Definitely white for me. It's going on my white desk.
  19. Also mostly recorded direct to a DAW via the Headphone out, which sort of bypasses all the stuff we would be interested in hearing 🙄. Still going to get one, but im not one to pre order, as i wouldn't get any sleep while im waiting for it to arrive lol.
  20. Ive always used a pick. Not proud of it, it's a habit I can't get out of. After 30+ years ive settled on using 1.52mm most of the time. Those EB large shield ones seem to work for me as they are quite grippy. I do very occasionally use a felt or leather pick, but only for certain songs. Always struggled with tone though. A BDDI went a long way for a couple of decades, but just recently I got an EBS Microbass 3 (and a Nux preamp). Both have sweepable mids and both have been a real eyeopener. I think in someways the BDDI was working as it was reducing some of the attack, but now I realise I was losing too much of the basses natural tone as well.
  21. Ive got a Rumble 25, had it for a few years, probably used it 5 times. It's a lovely combo but I just cant be bothered getting it out to play once every now and then. I think the Joyo is small enough to sit on the or under my desk for when I do fancy a blast.
  22. This look quite cool. I do all my home playing using headphones, but I quite fancy this to noodle on when the family are out. https://www.thomann.co.uk/joyo_ba_30_micro_bass_amp_white.htm?srsltid=AfmBOorOmjq8Tw1bwMWrWG4EeWgiHubdmTQVKqi-ubA5aP97cv6qPGGBrY4
  23. Haha. to be fair they were black, I was playing keys so stuck at the back, and it was a Walkabout pub where you aren't even allowed in if you're sober
