  1. For me it has to be my Fender P. Not only are these MIA’s very rare, I found this on line in on a small dealer’s website for £700 posted, inc nice gig bag. or, the two free Sire gig bags i get sent to me when i asked about buying one here in the UK. Direct from the top man at Sire.
  2. Also had fantastic CS from Hipshot. Begging of the year I brought some black tuners from Bass Direct. The bushes that came with them worked ok, but they were a tiny bit smaller than the ones that i took off. I emailed Hipshot on the Friday afternoon, and after a coupe of emailed back and forth over the weekend they posted a full set of the correct size bushes out to me, for free on Monday.
  3. Ok. I’m now thinking this one. Has LED’s, and can be used as an amp switcher as well. So if I’m right i can use one switch as FS4 and the others to change the channels on my Fender Rumble. https://www.amazon.co.uk/BOSS-FS-6-Dual-Foot-Switch/dp/B000RW2A0O?th=1 Not what i started out asking about, but a lot cheaper than buying the Pod Go or a Midi switch.
  4. Thanks. That was the first one i looked at, as i know a few of you use it. Its just not what I’m looking for. I’m clumsy footed, so really want something in a line. I know this from using my HFX. I ended up moving the blocks i knew I’d use the most to the front 3 switches, so didn’t really use the back row much, but liked to keep them loaded for when inspiration hit (or didnt). Quite often I’d hit two at a time. For me that 6 switch wouldn't offer much over the existing 3 on the Stomp. I’m not sure what the 8 switch version costs, but i have a feeling it’s approaching Pod Go price, and I’d still be using two boxes. I tihnk the cheapest option for me is to look around for a better two switch pedal, but one that has indicator lights on it. I just need to know if a switch is on or off really.
  5. No, ive gone of the idea now lol. Ill stick with getting the Pod Go.
  6. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not judging anyone. This is real life or death stuff, its just that i think the media and a hand in making it sound a lot more widespread than it is. Of course thats not to say the dangers aren't there, but some of the daily figures just seemed a bit odd sometimes, and hardly ever mentioned the high survival rate. For me, its get on with life but be as careful as i can.
  7. It looks like it has a small LED for each Foot switch. But you’re right, I think I’m wasting my time at the moment. Ive seen a few more like the MeloAudio one, which looks perfect, but that too doesn't do custom CC so no better than the Mongoose.
  8. Well in a way this is why im asking. I’m not yet up to speed with what can and cant be done. I assumed you could change snapshots, but i guess you cant. WIth the LED”s i was just hoping for villa feedback that ive hit it. Quite other i might hit two stitches by mistake, or not tun it off. Be nice jus tot see the status light change. As far as Midi Control changes etc, I’m hoping the upcoming FW 3.0 with Control centre update will take care of this at the Stomp end, but appreciate the Mongoose still wont use these commands.
  9. A lot of ‘if’s there. I stopped listening to the doom and gloom brigade a while ago. The chance of getting it is very low, and the figures show a lot more get over it than die from it. Ill take my chances.
  10. When we were furloughed our van driver went and got a job at Fords building the Ventilators. About 3 weeks ago he said they finished the first 18,000. That week the government placed another order for 32;000. They have always said its coming back. This lockdown was to slow the first spike so they could get things in to place.
  11. Any thoughts on this? USB rather than midi. Must admit ive not looked in to any of this side of the Stomp so maybe this just wont work anyway. https://www.dv247.com/en_GB/GBP/iCON-G-Board-Black-USB-MIDI-Floor-Controller-Black/art-PCM0012459-000?campaign=PSM_UK/kelkoo&ProgramUUID=MrLAqJarZEUAAAFobL.P7Dz7
  12. Thanks for the replies. I’m not really looking for any displays etc, just a LED to say the switch is on or off. Looks like the Mongoose can do that. The Stomp does show what blocks are on or off, but its not easy to see, especially if i have it on my amp behind me. I know how to use snapshots but i think only 3 is a bit limiting. The Keith McMillen looks fantastic, but overkill for me, and a bit expensive. All I’m looking to do is to turn one or two blocks on and off as and when i need to. I can do the patch change by hand on the Stomp itself. I’d never need to do this during a song, and i doubt I’d use more than 3-4 patches for a whole gig. Thanks anyway.
  13. Guys. Need some advice. I was planning on selling my Stomp and getting a Pod Go, mainly for more switches for live use (lol). What puts me off is the size, and i will never use the Expression pedal. Last night i thought about getting a midi controller instead, to work with the Stomp. I really only want one box on the floor, and not a pedal board. My idea is to have the Stomp on the amp, and the midi controller on the floor doing all the patch changes, block on/off stuff. So it needs at least 5 foot switches. I really like the Tech 21 Midi Mongoose, but I believe it cant be used to replace the foot switches for effects on off, only patch changes. The from factor is ideal though, as is the price. I prefer a line of switches rather than two rows. I guess i might be able to use it and use Snapshots if that’s possible. Not ideal though, but an option I’m open to. Any thoughts and suggestions? Is it even possible? Ive seen the Morningstar but it seems cramped, and this is what I’m trying to get away from. I know i can use a 2 way foot switch, which i have in the past, but its not as neat as i want, and I found it getting moved to easily on stage (and i don’t want to use a pedal board), I’d also like some visual indication one the pedal to show which foot switches is on. I forgot to say, must be smaller than the Pod Go, or else i might as well get that. I think that rules out the Behringer one.
  14. Just think how poor live music will be for the first few months lol.
  15. Same here. I’ll also be rehearsing as soon as it’s allowed and our studio opens. It’s a big enough place that we aren’t on top of each other.
  16. Reminds me of a private holiday camp we used to play. A new resident on the other side of the Lake, on the perimeter of the campsite used to open his window on the nights they had live music, and then complain to the local police about the disturbance.
  17. We have pub gigs booked for later in the year. Not heard anything about them so far. Coulda go either way i guess. I will gig the moment i can though.
  18. Nice one. Exactly how i use mine, although not with a computer.
  19. Well the price is right, so who knows. Got to try and get mine back first though.
  20. Thanks, not meaning to hijack your thread. I did have one before and I’m trying to get it back. I was interested to see what the average weight of these might be. The one i want is 8lbs, which seemed very light. GLWTS.
  21. I think ill just stick to the film. Not sure why I put it on but me and the GF were hooked.
  22. Anyone seen this? Not a fan at all, but found it very entertaining and quite funny. I never realised they had so much history.
  23. Thats a lovely bass. Can i ask what the weight is?
  24. Keep the photos for the ‘for sale’ thread 😂 Congrats, and about bloody time.......👏👏👏👏
