Ooh, just noticed the Stomp now has the coloured foot switch indicators like the Effects when using the Tuner. Very cool.

I’m looking forward to trying the Comp. This and the Small Stone are the highlights for me.

Not as much as you think. That’s exactly what it is. The other option is you can use the Apple camera adapter which has USB and power in. EDIT: just re read your post. The Hub is a usb hub, but you need one that will run off a power supply. Something like this will work, plus it means you can use an ordinary USB lead. Cheaper than the Apple one. The SS was a nice pedal, but I felt it was a bit subtle, and although the filters worked well I prefer the more traditional control that this DG has. Id say it’s quite close to my TCE Speak booster as well.

Oh yeah, I forgot we had spoken about you mate at Focusrite. I just tested my 2i2 with my iPhone XS Max. Worked perfectly other than it needs power, which meant using it with a hub. So some reason the 2i2 got power ok from the phone, but the phone didn’t see it until power was supplied to the phone. Something to be aware of. Not sure if the current interfaces need this. I just remembered the iRig is at work, with the cable. No idea when I’ll be able to get it, but the offer is there, for free, if you still need it after the lockdown eases. I sure you will be sorted by then.

I hate those devices that have a proprietary connection. Ive got a few devices that I can’t use because I’ve lost the cables, but the cost to replace them is too much. The more standard usb-c port on my iPad Pro was one of the big reasons I upgraded.

In the short time I had my P7 I’d say a definite yes. In passive mode closer to my Fender P bass than my two Yamaha basses.

€ Once you get your DAW up and running you could use that to get a feel of where the different feels are on the knob.....I think. I agree though, the default centre mid is where I seem to leave mine set. Never felt the need to use the low boost.

Well I’d still be weary of anything that isn’t Officially written for the bass. Piano parts or not always the full bass line.

I’d love a MB800 Fusion. I had one for an hour but never got to plug it in. The case was damaged so I sent it back.

I keep buying 800watt heads, ‘just in case I need more’. In almost 20 years of playing with just my rig supplying the sound to the room Ive never gone over half way on a master, even on a 500watt head. I realise not all master positions are the same, I’m just saying I’ve never had to go past noon on any amp. I could easily doe all my gigs with my markbass F1 (500watt) or Fender 800HD. If people were finding the 750 wasn’t loud enough I’d say a ‘proper’ 750watt head wouldn’t make much difference. I find the amp voicing can make a head sound louder than some other similar rated heads.

‘Place will be rammed’ heard it quite a few times, obviously Always a bit of an over statement. Variation is ‘it was rammed last night, could explain in why it’s empty tonight’ A very small pub we used to play regularly in Debden was always ‘3 deep at the bar’ the night before we played.....no matter what night we played. Still a good gig though, but it’s hard to imagine it being that full at any time.
