  1. Bought from our very own Bass Monkey for £4500 eighteen months ago. All original with a sales receipt and original jack socket that has been changed. Comes with chrome covers. Case is well used. I'm really only playing 5 string bass now so I'm putting this out for a trade for any 5 string bass. All price points considered. Straight sale for £4000 on collection via bank transfer. This is the most amazing P bass I have ever played. Perfect for gigs or just put it under the bed for a future investment.
  2. The angle is not steep enough for the head to move. It's just enough to fire the sound upwards.
  3. It has a sprung metal handle on the underside that flips out and allows the cab to tilt back for better close up sound. I've used the cab for both electric and acoustic bass with great success. Regards Marc
  4. Euphonic Audio cab. NL210 8 ohms 500 watts Tilt back system Easy lift Fitted padded cover £290 collected from Torquay
  5. Two sets of Payson stainless steel fan fret bass strings. Fit 5 string Dingwall AB or Combustion. Used set only 1 month old. New set unused. £20 UK postage included.
  6. I have a brother called Paul, does that count?
  7. On my Gnome 600 the compressor only comes on if you hit the input really hard. The sound is distorted and sounds horrible. I think the compressor / limiter is only there to protect the input?
  8. Hi there. 1. I have used it in all three positions and found mounting it under the fingerboard gave the best sound with my bass. Second was under the bridge and last was under the tail. All three positions gave a very accurate representation of the sound from my bass. It also blended very well with other pickups. I found that with a bit of experimentation and patience the best sound position could be found. 2. It us very snug so should be fine for a bit of bass acrobatics. I played in a country band standing up and moved around without any problems. 3. Yes it picks up all sound from the bass. 4. I used it in the country band at rehearsal and live with a moderate drummer with no problems. Hope this helps. Marc
  9. After selling off a medium sized board with effects that I simply never used I have built up a high quality small board for amp less church worship dates running direct to PA. Optical compressor - tuner - API preamp - passive di box.
  10. I have the 600w version and it's a fantastic clean punchy sound that have very little added colour to effect your original bass sound.
  11. As fair as I understand... 4 ohms 800 watts 106 db due to coupling of the two cabs.
  12. Exceptional quality studio / live microphone for double bass. Can be used in three different positions. 1. Under the neck / finger board. 2. Under the bridge. 3. Under the tail piece. All three positions have a large effect on the tonal output so experiment with all three. The microphone requires 48v phantom power to operate. Can be used in a live situation if there is moderate stage volumes. £175 UK posted. The microphone produces the most natural and accurate presentation of the double bass that I have ever heard.
  13. Really enjoying this little 600w amp.
  14. Mine was delivered today. First impression are. 1. No mute switch. Not a big deal but would of been nice. 2. Tone is not flat when tone controls are set at noon. Roll off the bass and treble to 9 o'clock position and it sounds uncoloured to me. 3. LED blur lights are stupid and bright. WHY? 4. Di is post tone only. Again WHY? 5. Fan is very quiet. Great for studio or home. More importantly it sounds very clean and punchy with my Euphonic Audio cab. For the price it is a clear winner.
  15. Thank you. That's what I thought.
