Nearly black..........? Following a short scale transformation with a Serek "the Grand" I just HAD to get a matching 5 string Serek....... Both are incredible basses, the build quality, workmanship and sound are just what I was looking for.

I would say that they are medium tension. Not sloppy or tight. Just perfect for me. -

NBD.... Following a short scale transformation with a Serek "the Grand" I just HAD to get a matching 5 string Serek....... Both are incredible basses, the build quality, workmanship and sound are just what I was looking for. The Grand is strung with LaBella low tension flats and the Midwestern 2 is strung with Newtone Shorties. -
I had the same problem when I had a P10dx. I replaced the socket with a strong after market one.

What until you are 60 years old, have health issues, a crumbling back due to carrying heavy gear and strapping a 5kg weight into your shoulders every day. I won't play gigs with anything heavier than 3.5kg and cabs over 10kg...... It's happens to us all in the end...... Old age ☹️

I have been through many light weight cabs and I've settled on the GR AT212 4 ohm cab that has replaced everything. It's so simple and convenient to turn up with one cab that is only 9kg and packs a huge punchy sound. I use it for everything. Who needs multiple cabs for different events..... Not me. 🤠

Fantastic video and music Tim. Reminds me of my Goth band in the late 1980s. Well done mate. Marc -

I've just bought an Ashdown Studio 10 for home and quiet rehearsals. It sounds perfectly adequate for quiet rehearsals / practice. It doesn't give the tone or slam of a full size rig, but I wouldn't of expected it to for the price. https://ashdownmusic.com/products/studio-10-copy https://www.pmtonline.co.uk/ashdown-studio-10-super-lightweight-50w-bass-combo-amp Price is good too.

I now use Newtone strings on both of my basses. They sound fantastic, are reasonably priced and give great customer service. Highly recommended.

Yesterday afternoon outside pub gig. Acinonyx bass straight into the GR Bass Dual 1400 and 2x12 cab. Sounded very clean with a ton of punch.

I owned one about 6 months ago. Unfortunately I didn't like it. I much prefer the Sonic Farm 2di4. The Sonic Farm is super clean with a gentle eq, if required. The Noble sounded congested to my ears.

Mike bought a Caveman BP1 Compact from me. It was such an easy transaction with perfect communication and quick payment. I can recommend Mike as a buyer 100%
